There are only 2 starting kickers with a worse % than Bass right now. He is statistically bottom 3 in the NFL at the moment.

The INT gave the Eagles a 75% probability of winning. Allen scoring on the next drive gave the Bills an 80% probability to win that increased to 95% before the end of regulation. In short, Allen eradicated that INT quickly. Yes, the Bills had a 95% probability of winning with less than a minute to go.

He has been trying to leave Michigan for years now lol

Not really. In 2019 we were starting Star Lotuleli, Trent Murphy and Jerry hughes on the D-Line. 2020 had 3 new starters and by 2022 we had an entirely new D-line and two new starting CB's.

How far back do you want to go in order to stay relevant to our current player group? Or do you simply want to go back as far as you can to justify crapping on Frazier? a 9 point loss is not a blowout.
-
Not sure why you think that. In the last 3 years under Frazier, we had 2 regular season games we were blown out in. Titans in 2020. Colts in 2021. That's it. That's the entire list. Most losses were by 4 or less.
-
We lost the Titans game on offense (failed 4th down). Unless you mean the other Titans game where we were blown out - that wasn't a game winning drive scenario.

Frazier was frustrating in that he played so conservatively. But I don't recall ever giving up so many game winning drives with him. Or maybe I just have amnesia.

Here is the type of things i’ve been reading since draft day. They’re not a definite but a lot of smoke for there to be no fire.

I really respect McD for all he has done for this franchise. I also believe he is genuinely good human being who has tried his best. That being said, at this point, I just really want a coach that is good at end of game situations. - Someone who knows not to call timeout on defense and that doing so gives the other team time to get their players and play-call in order, just as much as it does for you. - Someone who knows not to call timeout before a rushed game-winning or game-tying kick and give the field goal kicker time to catch his breath. - Someone who knows to squib the ball with 13 seconds left and not to play 10 yards off of receivers with the game on the line. - Someone who knows not to send an all-out blitz, multiple times, against a veteran QB, with the game on the line. - Someone who knows that you kick-off in OT against terrible offenses (stop them once and a FG wins the game) and you receive against any offense better than terrible. Just a lot of strategy stuff that I believe has lost us games.

The info that Reich wanted Stroud and the owner forced Bryce Young has been out since before the draft. Reich has made some comments that point to it as well.

We rotate 7 different players on a 4 man line with four 1st round picks: How much more depth do you need? I’m sorry but these are just excuses.

If you think injuries are why the Bills lost yesterday, then I completely disagree. We completely shut their offense down in the first half - injuries didn’t seem to be a problem then. And then the defense got steamrolled in the second half. The Eagles scored on 5 of their last 6 drives. 4 of those 5 were touchdowns. The key was that the Eagles coaching staff made adjustments in the second half. McD either didn’t, or his adjustments were not helpful. That’s not injuries - it’s coaching. .
-
He has done this repeatedly. Both with kickers and offenses that have a running clock and are scrambling to get first downs with the game on the line. How he has not learned that you don’t bail out the opposing side is beyond me. Incredibly frustrating.
-
Cook running out of bounds instead of going for the 1st down made me just as upset as him dropping the TD.

If so, then that is a direct indictment on McDermott and Beane who built this team.
-
His situational coaching awareness is just not great. A similar thing happened in the Broncos game:
-
Injuries are part of the risk of signing 33 year old players.
-
The Eagles had more turnovers…
-
Allen left the field with a lead after that interception. TWICE.

Bills missed opportunity to ditch McD and sign genius Sean Payton

That's actually a great point. -

Don’t look now but Payton’s Broncos have beaten the Chiefs, Bills, Browns and Vikings… all in a row. They were one of the worst teams in the league last season and now they’re knocking on the door of the playoffs. Great coaching matters… even if it takes a quarter season to get the kinks worked out.
