  1. I know jack squat about this player, but I can tell you the Eagles forum is celebrating his departure.
  2. 100% agreed. The overhead heaters are a significant improvement.
  3. Large caveat: Reid had been to a Super Bowl and numerous Championship games by his 7th season (which McDermott just finished).
  4. Here is mine: https://www.twobillsdrive.com/community/topic/243189-show-off-your-bills-collection-thread/#comment-7989969
  5. My guess is they have an out in 2 years.
  6. Singletary should be more healthy though.
  7. Yeah, Howie Roseman knows what he is doing.
  8. Rich get richer. Barkley’s contract is for $37.75 million and includes $26 million fully guaranteed at signing. The deal is worth a maximum of $46.75 million. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/saquon-barkley-agrees-to-three-year-deal-with-eagles
  9. Someone who watched the show "Quarterback" told me that of all the guys they showed, Kirk came away as the absolute best. Just a really likeable human. I hanve't seen it yet so I can't confirm/deny.
  10. They tried to bluff and Kirk called it. Their coach made several comments about letting Kirk see the market. How he "earned" it, etc. Welp, he saw the market alright.
  11. This guy has to be the GOAT at contract negotiations. This contract puts him at over $400M in career earnings.
  12. https://www.nfl.com/news/kirk-cousins-agrees-to-four-year-contract-with-atlanta-falcons
  13. What moves? Did we make a move? I honestly must have missed it. Or maybe you just mean the guys we didn't re-sign. Yeah im fine with them all going.
  14. That's a great guess.
  15. There is no point. They *want* to get fans stirred up. Then other fans will say "why read into players tweets?" To which I respond "they are doing it on purpose. They WANT us to read into it"
  16. $500 says he will have a good game or two and there will be a post about it. I am very happy he signed elsewhere.
  17. Zero chance the Chiefs do that. If they did, his cap hit would be 54 Million in 2027 and 63 million in 2028. And I don’t think they’d be extending a 34 year old DT to stretch it either.
  18. I think you're confusing a team playing nickel with a dedicated nickel corner playing time. Many times play their outside CB at nickel (see McDuffie who flips on and off between nickel and boundary). lol - no. Nickel CB wasn't even an all-pro vote until literally this year.
  19. No. And Taron isn't "elite" in my opinion. He is top 5 at his limited position, but I have trouble labeling that elite. I know one can make the argument that if you're top 5 at any position, then you're "elite". But I wouldn't call a top 5 long snapper "elite" either.
  20. Yes, and others corroborated this story. The Athletic even reported that his dad was trying to find ways out of being locked into a 5 year contract for first round picks, and looking into the CBA to find “loopholes”. Some think the NFL’s vote to prohibit non-family equity members right before the season was due to Caleb’s desire. I get it - you don’t like Florio. Doesn’t make him wrong though. .
  21. Thats $46 million less if they signed him last year. Nearly $4M per year less. But I agree it’s not a “disaster”. Just a worse deal for them.
  22. Yes, I believe most of what Florio says. I believe he is far and away the best NFL reporter there is. His law background and sources within the NFL give him a big advantage in my opinion. He routinely is proven right. Leagues above guys like Breer and Schefter who only pass along news that is given to them due to a quid-pro-quo relationship (meaning they also pass along agendas and false info). Florio on the other hand has called out that mucky relationship that reporters often have and has upset the NFL numerous times on his reporting of factual information that other sources wouldn’t give (because they don’t want to be shut out). This type of reporting is what made him famous. He was just a lawyer doing football as a side gig in his basement but his site became extremely popular over time because he exposed truth that most other reporters wouldn’t dare. Eventually he got so huge that NBC bought a stake in what he was doing, which is why you see NBC Pro Football Talk now. The main reason some don’t like Florio is because he DOES pontificate a lot. And sometimes his preaching (which can become annoying) involves opinions that can sound anti-Bills or anti-whatever-team that the person may like. These fans don’t want to hear opinions of reporters - they just want facts. BUT, at least when Florio does his pontificating, he never passes it off as fact. He says outright that he is giving an honest guess. He doesn’t pretend that it’s true. So when he passes along a piece of information that he says is fact, I believe him. Because he does a good job of delineating between his guesses and what he knows for sure. And he often ends up being proven right.
