  1. Well, most of Oklahoma . I live just east of that green line, on the Texas/Oklahoma boarder (Tishomingo). Not many Okies in that green area outside Lawton/Ft. Sill (US Army base) and Altus (AFB).
  2. SWEET! I don't have to watch my Roku buffer the final 20 seconds of the game! This makes 3 of 4 games so far shown in Oklahoma so far! Should have 5 of the first 8 aired here in the Sooner State going into week 10.
  3. I think offensively we will be fine, especially coming off a bye week (way too early for one IMO) so I feel OSU will put up some points on Baylor. OSU has won 2 of the last 3 meetings... and SHOULD have won all three. My concern is we are 1-4 the last 5 in Waco. 32-32 is the average score in those 5 games. Cowboys have won 19 of the last 27 games v Baylor.... 7-6 the L13 in Waco. Oklahoma State's defense is far better than their numbers show and the overall perception from the outside. It was 51-15 in the 3Q v C. Michigan when Gundy pulled the entire starting lineup on both sides. The final score didn't indicate how the game went (final was 58-44). Central Michigan isn't a bad team either. It was 21-14 at the half and CMU held Penn State to just 12 points in the 2nd half. My biggest concern is Spencer Sanders vs Baylor. Seems to be the one team he struggles against. Career numbers: 81-of-131 for 942 yards, 5 touchdowns and 10 INTs (he threw 1 TD v 7 INTs last year) vs Baylor. You take away the game v the Bears, he's fire. Baylor is one of the worst teams in the NCAA passing the ball, they are a rushing offense right now. OSU has a stout run defense. They held the nations leading rusher from 2021 to just 2.8 yards per carry in game one. The Bears have also not faced a passing attack like the Cowboys, not even close. That's the strength of OSU's team. We aren't the best running team this year, sorta like our Bills... like Allen, Sanders is the offensive weapon on the ground (as well as his arm). We saw in the Fiesta Bowl how good he is running the ball (and vs OU). In those two games alone, he rushed for 241 yards (also threw for 723 yards). He's better this year so I hope his past history against Baylor won't matter. Game is toss up because it's in Waco IMO.

  6. I think you simply have to live in the area. I'm live in Oklahoma and it's over 100 nearly every day of the summer, heat index at one point was 120 a month ago. Sucks, but we get used to it. Went to an Oklahoma State v Kansas game one year in Lawrence... temp on the field was nearly 130. The players get used to it. (I also went to Basic and AIT during the summer in Missouri (Fort Leonard Wood) when I was 21 and it doesn't get much hotter than that. Humid, etc.) Our bodies adjust and over time, it's more difficult to deal with high heat like you might have experienced.
  7. Well, my Wyoming pick looked good. lol
  8. They are ALL equality important.
  9. But not the one right after.
  10. Same. Try living in Oklahoma where you see OU crap at Dollar General and hear "Boomer Sooner" on the radio. I just want to let them know.... Oklahoma State #9 Oklahoma #18
  11. They tried to get George Michael
  12. Fins fans... lol
  13. Not going with my formula this week, just making picks. Oklahoma -12.5 USC -6 Wyoming +21.5
  14. I don't like it. Stand when it's a big play, seems to make the play that's happening "bigger" for the guys on the field. I go to mostly college games, because I'm in Oklahoma and only students stand the whole game. You're 18-21 years old, go for it. When you're 45 years old, it not as much fun to stand for 3 hours. Nothing annoys me more than my entire section sitting and two or three jerks standing causing everything behind them to have to stand.

  16. You'll never get a straight answer... and later, he will make up what you've said to him. Good luck!
  17. Would Alabama play Oklahoma State and USC the same season non-conference? How about Michigan and then play Oregon? Same year. OU left for the SEC, I don't blame them AT ALL. If Oklahoma State had that chance (which they probably eventually will when we go to like 4 super conferences), I'd bolt in a heartbeat. Why should OSU bend over backwards to schedule OU along with our future games? We have 4 of the next 5 seasons set with non conference. So lets pretend we do add OU every year when our schedule isn't full... here's the non-conference foes: 2025 Oklahoma Oregon Tulsa 2029 Alabama Oklahoma Tulsa 2032 & 33 Arkansas Oklahoma 2034 @ 35 Nebraska Oklahoma 2036 & 37 Oklahoma Colorado No thanks. Does NOTHING for Oklahoma State to schedule Alabama and OU the same year, or Arkansas and OU. Gundy said he could see it happening in 2030, when we only have Tulsa right now. This was a great analogy for this whole thing (and don't get me wrong, I don't want Bedlam to end, but I get why OSU isn't going out of their way to please OU. How it's on the OSU program, it's comical): OU: I'm leaving you for someone else OSU: Fine, bye. OU: Maybe sometimes we can hookup.. like on weekends? OSU: No, bye. OU: I can't believe you're ending this relationship.
  18. Saw the first 3 episodes.... might be the best live action Star Wars show thus far. Pacing isn't very fast but they are developing a story line that seem to be amazing. Can't wait to see more!
  19. I didn't have any issues the past couple of weeks other than every so often, it would give me some weird error. Just had to close and open the app again. BTW: I have the Sunday Ticket via my oldest daughter's college account for $40 a year

    Andor

Growing up in the late 70's/early 80's... I'm a massive Star Wars nerd. In fact, I still collect the vintage toys (mostly MOC's). Being a HUGE fan of Rogue One, I can't wait until Wednesday when Disney releases Andor. LucasFilm/Disney has soooo many talented writers/directors (Dave Filoni, Jon Favreau, Tony Gilroy)... makes no sense to me why they put out junk like Obi-Wan and the sequels. Yes, there were parts of Obi-Wan I really loved, but for the most part it was boring.
  21. I love a nice cold running brook. Geez dude, not for that. BTW: No gun type is mentioned in the 2A... "Arms". You're just playing dumb right now.
