  1. Great video. This makes me love our draft even more. We ha.ve so much versatility on offense to take the pressure off Josh and we gained even more versatility on Defense with Elam and Bernard.
  2. Hurts wasn't that bad and people inside the Eagles org think he's going to take a step forward. He's got a much better supporting cast and the defense should be top 10. They are in position to wrestle away the division from Dallas. They figure why not take the next step and see how far Hurts can take them while he's on his rookie deal. You want to know that he's your franchise guy or at least the guy you'll lock up on a second contract. Same with Tua and the Fins.
  3. The madness has turned into disappointment, which has now cycled into optimism as the Bills have addressed the issues that caused the 13 seconds. The optimism is turning into confidence and that confidence will soon become joy, relief and celebration as we hoist up the Lombardi in 2023
  4. Wow. Quick and efficient. What a front office!
  5. We don't know all of the parameters of his relationship with the Bills or with his agent. Maybe the salary reduction was too much and his agent said let's test the market. If what they are looking for doesn't pan out, then who knows. He may be willing to come back to be part of the Super Bowl run at the rate the Bills offered. Beane is a master at being patient and open with players and not much was said about Klein's departure and fit for the defense. At any level, one thing we know for sure is that they want competition in every position. So if he's willing to come in and compete it doesn't matter that they drafted 2 LB's. Spector was a 7th round pick and is not a lock to make the roster. Bernard should make the team, which leaves Dodson, Giles-Harris, Lee, Matekevich and Smith all fighting for roster spots, along with Klein should he chose to return. I personally think Klein is better than the rest of them and his closest competition is Dodson. Matekevich is special teams, but that doesn't mean he's a lock either.
  6. A different kind of player. Once Klein found his niche in this defense his play improved dramatically and he made some big plays. At a reduced salary, he'd be worth a roster spot.
  7. That will get the stadium rocking! Who needs "Shout" when we have "Go Go Bills Fight Bills Go."
  8. I honestly think they drafted Bernard to take that spot or they move Johnson there and have Bernard play the nickel. Poyer has been under appreciated but I don't think Beane can squeeze the money he wants in, unless its a 4-5 year deal with guaranteed money spread out and backloaded and voidable after 2-3 years, aka Von Miller.
  9. There's something to be said for being a good teammate, another set of eyes on the field and in the film room. There are people who make others around them better with their attitude and expertise. Being QB#3 is almost like being an assistant coach sometime and its not a bad gig. Barkley has also made a career out of it. I see Peterman in that mode. He was always likable, teachable and player friendly with a good mind for the game. He just didn't have the physical tools, most notably his arm strength. He could never place that out route quick enough or strong enough and it got picked a lot and he couldn't throw deep. QB#1's nowadays have to be able to hit from anywhere on the field inside 20 yds and at least have enough juice to make them pay with a deep ball if they crowd the line.
  10. In the Tampa area we support Casa De Pizza. great wings and Bills Backers. https://www.casadipizzafl.com/buffalo-new-york-favorites-menu
  11. Edmunds was my pick too for the same reasons. Add a few big game-changing plays from him and its a +1 +2 in the win column which would get us home field advantage in the playoffs. Next up n defense for me is G-Root, then Elam if he can pick up the game speed and mental part of the defense quick enough. I also agree on the Spencer Brown comments. What Edmunds can do with improved play on the defense is akin to what a leap of play from Brown can do on the offense. If we can run, call RPO's and have time in the pocket from our O-line, then they will be a step above dangerous. Next up on offense is Cook. I know he's a rookie, but if he can do all those things that Devin can't, it will change the way defenses play against us, limit Josh's running and open up the field for the other guys to get favorable matchups. I feel like Davis has already shown us what he can do, his leap of play may not be as large, it's just that he will get more opportunities to showcase that talent. My last player would be either a Bates/Boettger/Ford combo. If Bates continues to improve or one of the other 2 really improve it will solidify the weak link on the offensive line. Bates especially, if he continue his ascent, he may be able to take over Morse's spot, providing that Ford, Boettger or another G can play consistently. Morse's game is mostly mental now. His strength is not the same as it was in his prime and there were some big, bad boys in the middle of the DL that got push on him. consistently last year. All around, I'm the most excited I've been going into a season since the '90's. This roster is stacked. Our FO is solid and our coaching has been solid. The organization as a whole has been miraculous in turning around this franchise. I couldn't be happier and prouder of our Bills.
  12. Good job. Well thought out. I'm in agreement with pretty much every point and very excited as well. Strength and conditioning will be the key. With everyone healthy, this is a dangerous team that will make a deep run and should hoist that beautiful baby that eluded us for so long. I may be in the minority, but one poster pointed out some interesting traits about Bernard that make him more of a Poyer than a Milano. Seeing that the hole may be there if we don't resign Poyer long term, I tend to lean that way too.
  13. Sure, I wish him luck. He was ok while he was here. We had bad sack totals from the EDGE, hence the upgrade to Von Miller. And that is a BIG upgrade. The defense will be better with Von over Mario and we all know it. Everyone busts their ass to play in the NFL. It's their job. I bust my ass every day. It's expected.

  15. We won't miss him. Judging by reaction, you honestly think Von Miller is not an upgrade over Addison. OK? We counldn't keep both and still develop our youth and they will learn way more from Von than from Addison or Hughes. I'll say it again, we won't miss him.
  16. This means we beat Brady and Tampa in the Super Bowl. A dream come true.
  17. And Barkley did if for awhile.
  18. Well according to CBS Sports 2022 is going to be a good year. I love this mock draft. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/2023-nfl-mock-draft-will-anderson-jr-goes-no-1-c-j-stroud-first-of-six-qbs-off-the-board-in-round-1/
  19. I'm going Cook. A lot of scouts were referring to him as a Kamara type. If we get 90% of that or 90% of his brother, we are going to have a dynamic 1-2 punch in the backfield and another strong weapon for Josh. People won't know how to defend us. I think Beane did a good job of filling holes and building depth.
  20. a solid "B" to a possible "A". Only time and good coaching will tell. They definitely drafted for scheme fit and to plug holes. 1. Amir has the physical traits to be a lockdown corner, but may need some time to adjust to the mental part of learning the defense. 2. Cook fills a need that the Bills offense was looking for with McKissic. How he takes advantage of that opportunity and how he picks up blocking will be crucial. 3. Bernard wants to be Milano. Let's see how that goes. He seems to have the sideline to sideline quickness and tackling ability to be a backup and role player. 4. WE lost the opportunity for a reach in Rd 1. Was someone really trying to trade up past us to get Elam? 5. Shaikir. "Gabe light." Sideline contortionists were a nice valve for Josh and early on Gabe was making these kind of great catches to earn time on the field and move the chains. Shakir is a lot smaller so how Josh places the ball for him and how good his catch radius is will factor into getting on the field. 6. Airaza is everyone's favorite "punt God" and the darling of the late rounders. He fills a need. Whether he holds, out kicks his coverage and learns how to place inside the 20 will be major factors to getting an "All Pro here" 6. Benford. I don't know much about him but based on scouting reports, he is a zone corner and has the mentality for this D. 6. Tenuta is a Big ?? Alligator arms, but big. We'll see. 7. Spector seems like a development guy who's upside would be covering TE's, which is a need. Overall, I'm pretty happy we filled the gaps and have a solid roster that will compete for a championship. I wish them all good health and a chance to make their dreams come true.
  21. ABC was the worst. Half the show wasn't even about football. I tried NFL Network too, but ended up with ESPN. It was the most tolerable. Didn't Barkley hold at one point. If the kid is a boomer, maybe they can teach him to hold. If not, I'm sure we are not the type of team to take chances and leave that position in flux. Bass may have a say in who is holding for him.
  22. Exactly, we are picking 32nd. No need to rush it.
