There is literally no one worth it that's available. Keenum, from what I have seen from him in the past, is not bad. The guy basically lead the vikings to the NFC championship game in his one year there and had the best year of his career. But in the free agency pool, the only player I would even consider is calling Fitz and seeing if he wants to come out of retirement. Because that's seriously all that's out there

Oh boy, you are right.  I looked at this list and nearly cried.

If any starter goes down on any team, they are in a load of trouble, outside of some lower tier starters who are fighting for jobs in Seattle, Carolina and maybe Pittsburgh who won't have as drastic a drop off.  I thought maybe there would be some vet cuts that we could pick up someone, but I'm not sure if a Flacco or Mullins would be an upgrade.  I was kind of happy with Keenum but watching him overthrow everyone and look so lost in the pocket was disheartening.

Is this offense that hard to pick up quickly?  He has done some decent work but there's reports his practice reps suck too.  I hope he catches up soon.

Is this a haiku thread already?

    Isaiah must stay

The Bills drafted him, so now,

    We must be patient.

    Blackshear Two TD's

The Bills found him, so now

    Must develop him

  3. Agreed on Keenum. We are deep everywhere but backup QB. Barkley getting some yards on the #3's is not going to ease my concern. I'd like to see us look at some of the other vet cuts and see if we can find a real #2. I think the OL will come together and the WR's, TE's and RB's look good. Defense looks tough. Keep Josh healthy and rested up and we got a real shot.

It just never stops,  some almost always get triggered by anything Pats.  Do you think their fans were triggered in the Kelly years when we owned the AFC. I could care less about Brady unless were playing him the Super Bowl.  Some Bills fans need to stop acting like 12 year olds and enjoy the good times while they are here

I was triggered to my happy place when we utterly destroyed the Patriots in the playoffs.  I think many Bills fans got a huge amount of satisfaction paying back the Patriots for years of dominance.  If acting like a 12 year old is 15,000 fans rushing the field and tearing out the goalposts after we broke the winless streak to the Dolphins, then may we all be happy kids as we run to the SuperBowl. When you get beat so bad for so many years, you take a lot of pride and satisfaction in payback.

Seeing a great CLEAN hit on the opposition is a part of the game and a fun part. I loved playing safety and laying the lumber down when someone tried to cross the middle. It's part of the game.

Who cares,  we need to get over this Brady and Pats triggered responses.  Put the past behind and look ahead

Actually we need to hit him like that again and again as we smack down the Bucs and send him into retirement.

I did and it didn't come up, which is why I posted this. Mods feel free to merge.

  6. Couldn't find it on tv, but did run into a repeat of the Chiefs vs Bills playoff game. Truly, this was on Levi Wallace. He let Tyreek Hill score the TD., missed on Kelce on the final play. He had a bad, bad game. I'm now glad we moved on. We need to upgrade that spot and I hope Elam can do it.

Am I the only one that was a little surprised that Von looked small compared to the rest of the dline?  In all the videos I have seen of him in free agency, etc. the guy looks huge.  Put him next to the rest of our dline and suddenly he looks on the smaller side.  I get that at edge you often play at a lower weight, but it still took me off guard.

Don't take this the wrong way.  I am super stoked that he is on the team and excited to have him.  The guy is a hall of famer.  I guess this just meant that he plays way above his size or that the rest of our dline is abnormally large.

I was looking thinking GRoot looks like Von's daddy. If Von can help teach up this kid, he is going to be dangerous for years to come.

you are describing the movie Hustlers starring Jennifer Lopez.

Yup. That's what goes down in that area where he wandered off the road. Very high end strip joints.  It's a big thing in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale and even some here in Tampa. My wife was in nursing and heard rumors about nurses getting paid thousands to train dancers/escorts how to administer ketamine so it would not do damage but knock the person out, especially with enough alcohol.

Dudes get rolled at clubs and strip joints all the time in Miami. Especially the high rollers who stroll in wearing expensive jewelry with large credit card limits. They run up the cards in the club for thousands at a time, take watches and rings. And if they can get the guys to some hotel or another place, they get even more.

  9. Truly sad. I lived in the area for years before moving to Tampa. There's a major strip club down the road from where Haskins was driving. The girls there are known to roll men for cash, credit cards, jewelry, etc.. They often use ketamine. As soon as I read ketamine, my wife said "I'll be he was at that strip club."   It's sad, these girls have no conscience when drugging up men. They know they won't tell. That place is known for dudes dropping serious coin. Dancers in the private rooms can take home 5-10 grand a night when the athletes and high rollers come in.
