  1. Also having been a viking he knows how to play against cousins with all his practices against him.
  2. Plus in this future outcome, the NFL may hear advertisers grumble that ratings suffer when the games are so blah and then Josh does his Turkey Day magic they will demand the NFL put Allen on the Protect Always list. Win or lose Josh is fun to watch play and ratings do show his wide appeal.
  3. Yea I don't think the Bills would let him play if tests showed any significant injury. The focus on how badly he could be injured with no way to know his medical details, might possibly open up the deep routes if Minn believes his injury could make him not throw as much.
  4. Indeed the deep balls will be popping up like crazy if you force the defense to defend the shallow open areas. Then can hit a few if those to pad stats after the opponent is demoralized trying to keep Bills in check and failing.
  5. That's what I thought initially, then saw the Mac Jones and I guess I can't be bothered keeping up with the Jones. More fun keeping up with the Allen's at qb.
  6. Don't even know who that's supposed to be. Not like these is a qb last name dimes.
  7. Yea, it is never good to have any injury. However, since the bad has not been avoided due to an injury, can they 'process' something good from it. If they do win with Case while letting Josh sprain fully rest, if needed as we are not privy to how severe the sprain was. It is possible the area is stable after the several days of resting it from practice plus any massage therapy they applied over the week. Final test maybe morning of game, if good to go he plays, if still sore he sits. Winning this game is important maybe, but not crucial. Aggravating an injury could lead to it being chronic and that could impact future games negatively and worse yet could impact on future seasons of Josh Allen Franchise QB. Not worth the risk not for me. It's not like Bills Mafia cannot handle a loss. We have aged on them, so let's have it been an aging like a fine champagne and we can let the main component rest until it's time to uncorked it to really seal the victorious SB season.
  8. Sometimes it's better to be the plodding tortoise than the fast rabbit. Hoping given Josh loving to play football extends to point he hates to miss even practice and it really drives home taking the easy plays more to get defenses scrambling for relief and opens up the big plays. Let the opponents be the team in frantic mode trying to find answers and needing to find adjustments and hopefully failing to find any that work.
  9. Or he could make a mark and gameplan with keenum well enough the defense isn't worn out and both sides complement the other and we have a great game and the team rides zthrough the rest of the season buoyed with the confidence they can get the job done even with Josh on the bench hurt.
  10. And pretty spot on. The other guys have to step up and win the game without Josh. If they are the competitors they claim they step up get the job done. It will also be interesting to see how Dorsey gameplans the offense for Keenums skillet. And will the defense be able to hold the Vikings to a low score than what our offense can produce. If all we score is a fg then defense needs a shutout. Or it can just go and score some points and give the offense help if it is mis-firing again.
  11. Good movie doubt many here have seen it. That's the one he's stranded on a desert island with nuns and some orphans in pacific during ww2?
  12. I hope if they hold Allen out that Keenum just has a great game and the rest of the offense wakes up and starts earning their place on the team. None of them have earned the right to coast.
  13. Yea not sure if they could overturn the ruling on the field. Depends on how the referee sees it and there's been good and bad video replay decisions. However the point that it matters not except as a learning experience for the players. The game is now history. How they respond will be interesting.
  14. Great now someone's gonna go try to photoshop each qb in full female bodies.
  15. Well they were trying to replay it for TV, but they TV producer couldn't find any footage on any hold so they had nothing to show.
  16. Well taking away the passing plays, from this past game would been a good adjustment from the oc when it was obvious Josh was not having a good day. Perhaps if they got chunk plays from running backs or even develop a reliable screen game then Josh would have more choices when things aren't clicking with the passing game.
  17. Yea iirc both the Bills and rams were undefeated at that point 5-0 or 6-0 before they played and everyone was writing off the Bills since Kelly wasn't gonna play.
  18. And they could go out and win every single game till the Super Bowl and that game will still be determined only on how the players play on that day. I didn't enjoy the mistakes and the loss yesterday but they earned that loss and if they still give that type of effort in more games they can lose those too. We all know how capable our players can play so it's disappointing when they all come out so flat. It is in their own hands how they respond and that will be more telling of what they will accomplish as a team this season.
  19. So think they need to cancel Halloween each year the team comes out cursed after Halloween.
  20. Refusing to take any check downs is just as bad a flaw as being Capt Checkdown. Got to force teams to respect attacks at every level of the field. When they can ignore parts it just makes it easier to defend. Hoping they can develop a good screen/safety valve system with Hines being the wrinkle other teams can't deal with.
  21. Yes it appears he's gonna be a good player. My hope is that NY Jets don't solve the qb position enough to make playoffs and somewhere down the line Sauce signs with the Bills.
  22. Well he can probably help the young guys during the game. Never hurts to have him talking to them speeding up their learning the pro game.
  23. I caught that too. Boomer just wants to sound like he knows how the Bills play. Think he's trying to make the Milano inactive seem more dire than it is. Yes we all want Milano in any game played but our defense is very well coached and all the players on this team are taking care of business. Think we will see Hines play quite a bit because the Bills will be resting starters by the 4th quarter.
  24. I am glad they decided to not play him this week as the general consensus of the field at MetLife being hard on players bodies. We can beat Jets with our defense as I just don't see Wilson solving our defense. I also think Bills will unleash some running plays that take the Jets defense by surprise and they get completely discombobulated.
  25. Might be dependent on how the Bills staff feels the condition of the field at met life is possibly not the best surface to play tre as first game back even limited snaps. I'll leave such decisions to the coaches. We will beat the Jets regardless imo. Defense has been up to the challenges against much better offenses and qbs. Josh and offense will want to show everyone that last week's miscues in 2nd half are noted and won't be repeated. The defense will give Josh plenty of opportunities to establish a rapport with Hines while still feeding Diggs and Davis. I think we will see more screens with Hines and they will be amongst the games highlights.
