Antonio Brown shares text from Brady blasting him
AuntieEm replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
More likely he hurts somebody else. AB is a bit self absorbed so I think he misteps against another person quicker than himself. He definitely has some mental problems. So never know which way the cte will trigger, just a matter of when and the details on who. -
Wawrow hints an Internal Issues with the Bills
AuntieEm replied to CountDorkula's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe Josh was trying to set Diggs up to have a bigger game than Jefferson. No other reason to try to force things when you have more weapons. -
Indeed. Especially when one of the checkmark they look for when drafting is character. Looks like they bought in to alot of lip-service. I'm pretty much thinking they are getting what they deserve. If they can reach deep inside and pull together as one team they may deserve a SB ring, if not then hoping the SB Champs are deserving. Then these guys can see if they can learn for future seasons.

I'm a fan of the Bills because it's my hometown team. I always want them to win and play well. But to be honest if they win the SB it doesn't do anything for me other than I'm happy their hard work was rewarded. However, their work is rewarded already by good earnings, and usually players do enjoy playing. Only benefit I get is watching good football. If much prefer the good plays occur from our offense and defense. When they don't I still get to see good football from opponents that have to play very well since our current team is very talented. They made some bad plays with some good plays the game was certainly entertaining. They deserved to lose the game while also playing good enough to have won the game. Yes as mcd says these type of loses can build character. I'd have preferred that the team had already sufficient character to win all these close games. Unfortunately, if there is some underlying resentment that hasn't been properly dealt with than that's a complete failure of leadership. I know I'll still be a Bills fan whether this squad wins the SB or not. Any players holding any grudges well hope they don't remain on my favorite team much longer and I don't care what name is on the back of the jersey.

Wawrow hints an Internal Issues with the Bills
AuntieEm replied to CountDorkula's topic in The Stadium Wall
If this is the case then my gut feeling of having a Bickering Bills scenario that they are trying to keep covered up is spot on. However , it appears there is some real disconnect when you have players going rogue and mutinying. So there needs to be a leadership change. Even Allen does not get to make ultimatum to coaching decisions. The seems to be some clues that he may be giving too much say in how they play 4th and shorts. I want my coaching staff to have a few bright young coaching assistants having already researched the opponents tendencies and talent in defending that down distance. If they see some weakness that upon further scrutiny the opponent has not made changes to correct then you can have several plays picked out if that 4th and short is encountered in the game. I don't want generic averages with no context deciding to go for it . Know the risks failing to get it bring then chose based 9n how your team is performing. -
Wawrow hints an Internal Issues with the Bills

It also should mean some players should be gone. Fine to disagree with the coach but to throw a game or not put in effort to win those players need to be gone irregardless of coaching change or not. -
No but if a qb feels the bobbled snap then is pushed he doesn't likel, get the ball secured whereas without the push he may make the save of botched handoff.

Really don't care what their philosophy is. They don't have a talent like Josh to properly develop. Right now it seems more like Josh Allen is just winging it and he's out of his talent range which is very wide. We probably wouldn't be contenders with most qbs out there so Josh does get the credit for being the reason Bills are SB favorites. He does not get a free pass from being the reason for a loss.

The certainly should be some discussions on what 9C options are 9ut there. Do they bring in F. Reich who at least knows the culture of Buffalo which I think is important. McDs process meshes well with the WNY values and I think Reich can certainly be unmatched as far as knowing how to make a comeback having the best pro and college comebacks in their respective histories. I'm not 100% on if the college comeback record has held though he was 1 in both for a substantial time. What other options are out there?

So the nfl is scripted like WWE certainly has been a theory and certainly nothing disproves it could be fact. I can also come up with a few other alternate conspiracy theories that cannot be disproven but make for an entertaining theory.

So what coaches need replacing? Is it HC which means complete reset or is it DC or OC? Easiest scapegoat would be to replace Dorsey, maybe there's some resistance to that from Allen? And to be clear I agree it is a coaching failure. Just where do they need to start?

If Hyde and Poyer Are Healthy, We're Undefeated
AuntieEm replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
Don't think we will earn home field. However any seeds above us could be upset and we back into hosting a playoff game including a afccg. Long shot but until the math is impossible it has a chance. -
And likely there is but it's usually not his first read. He doesn't find the best open guy it's like he has to chose which guy he will throw to pre snap and won't checkdown.

My expectation for this team was SB appearance and win. So they have now made the road to the playoffs a noncertainty given that other teams have ability to control their destiny. I didn't even feel they needed home field advantage for getting to AFCCG, just it would have been a nice bonus for the local fans who attend games in cold weather. I am not one to be able to do so. So if the game is at KC just means gotta beat them there. The biggest obstacle to even getting to playoffs is the lack of control of own destiny. Too many things have to line up and I don't expect them to. That's my reasoning. Not happy they needed this lesson, but it's how I perceive what has occurred. Up to them how they respond. They need to have a player only meeting and let them air out any gripes amongst themselves and figure out what is most important to them as a team. So if they make and win the SB my original expectation is met albeit in a very distressing fashion. If they get to SB and lose it, they will have at least battled back to expectation based on talent so would have regained a measure of respect. If they get to playoffs regardless of how far they get if it isn't getting to the SB then they DID FAIL my expectations and they FÀILED their own because they have never shied away from stating they expect nothing less.

Wawrow hints an Internal Issues with the Bills
AuntieEm replied to CountDorkula's topic in The Stadium Wall
I actually think we are in the midst of this version of Bickering Bills. They all are mouthing the company line of trusting the process and staying humble and hungry... in reality and deed they are far from humble. The proof is they choke away games they had no business losing. You get miced-up audio Gabe Davis saying it's just too easy and then dropping some crucial passes in our losses. In fact any of the players that had noticeable contributions in previous losses seemed to be on verge of redeeming plays this week. Bass not missing a fg or xp. Mckenzie making some clutch catches and moving the chains. All the team had to do was be humble and Josh could have taken a shotgun snap in endzone and kneeled for safety when they had a 3 point lead. Game over we win by 1. They chose not to be humble and so they were handed a humbling loss. -
I also think that by being somewhat boastful by the whole team about how Josh needs a hit to get in his zone. He takes a hard hit and laughs about it. Well maybe he gets a slightly harder hit by some opponents who are taking up a challenge. May not get any dirty hits just another competitor trying to best Josh and ramping up the hit a notch and it causes some issues with Josh's throwing enough to see a difference in completions. I think the team buys into the process.... but they are not living it. They mouth the words. Stay humble and hungry..... I see alot of very unhumble attitudes in little bits that I'm pretty sure the alpha types on this team are not humbled yet which is why they won't stop choking until they truly get humbled. That just how the universe works. Always a reaction to every action and once you accept that you can start to control your actions to produce the reaction to get the outcome you want.

NFL Week 10 - Vikings at Bills post game thread
AuntieEm replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
The fact that Josh Allen has too much say in how the offense goes. If the OC cannot curb his hero ball risk taking maybe time for a bit of reality check and bench Josh for a game. I suspect there is some kind of disconnect within the player ranks. Might not be the 90s ego driven bickering Bills but definitely something off. -
Well I hope this plays out with Minnie taking the NFC to have a showdown Bills in AFC, the 2 teams who have lost 4 sb with 0 wins. The rematch would have do many storylines.

Well Vikings were composed from Nordic races and Danes are one of those Nordic races. I just think at times the adrenaline has their vision bit blurred and they misidentified the player. -

Momentum changer yes but game changing to be determined. Depends how the team responds on both sides. -
On to Minnesota (get this game in the rear view mirror!)
AuntieEm replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
The NFL would just ruin that by adding in a mauling the defender penalty. These younger generation gladiators are such wimps. Back in the old days the gladiators took the games seriously as a life or death situation.
