  1. Yea Josh better be looking over his shoulder and doesn't think he's invincible. Why they need to keep adding to oline until it they earn the nickname Ft Knox where the Bills protect their treasured Golden Child Josh Allen.
  2. Funny read the guide and what struck me is that Rousseau which I always pronounced correctly sounds bit like the Polish word for chicken soup or broth. ROSOL with accent on the last O and the L that has line thru it making the polish sound of a English w. So I'm gonna take it as a sign that Rousseau is gonna be the Souped up version as he barrels past dlineman.
  3. I'd also imagine a compression sleeve may alleviate some minor irritations he may experience in his elbow given he has the tears. Might be easily managed but if it's being managed okay and I truly believe our medical staff would not sign off on it if it were a risk to his long term ability. And honestly I'd think they also do prioritize players long term health. This isn't the redskins mismanaged Griffin 3 because a use they had a viable bu plan with Cousins. I kept playing softball while I was younger even when I had obviously torn my rotator cuff. Had to have been a minor tear as I still was able to throw just messed with my mechanics a bunch esp as I constantly tweaked it the whole softball season that year. I initially started that season with a cast on my throwing arm as I had broken 2 fingers on my last day of duty at my German base, in like mid Dec. Then it took until like may before I didn't need a cast it was a clean break just I didn't let having a cast stop me from playing softball or volleyball at my new base at Eglin FL. So I likely added to the time it took the fracture to heal sufficiently. The added weight of the cast and Tha awkward grip I had because of the cast had partial buildup to mid knuckles of the 2 fingers that were fractured at the palm area of the pointing finger and my middle finger. That likely cause the tear on so n e throw I put extra velocity 8nto and the added wight of cast likely caused a tear. I never did go get it checked. I just play through the pain. Once I was not playing either it healed up as I have never had any further issues with it.
  4. I have no way of knowing this is fact it is only my own opinion but I believe all the Josh MvP five last year had him get a bit revved up into sugar high Josh in red zone. Do we know when he a united into a successful running play or if a play got blown up bec as use protection broke down. And cannot fault line giving him as much tiecas he had. He h a s to make better playcslls if he was audibling out or if he wasn't changing play based on defense looks.
  5. And never know maybe he just clicks with the Bills and then we just have to see if He signs a extension early instead of cashing in as teams needing wr talent will pay him.
  6. I am expecting that torrence is gonna shine here opening up a easy lane for any of our backs.
  7. He was drafted in 2019 draft. It's 2023 subtract 2019 that's 4 years.
  8. That maybe there is some ownership directives perhaps? Usually always thought the Maras just let their GM call the shots but I don't follow other teams ownerships and how little or how much they call the shots. Except everyone knows Jerry in Dallas has total say in any decision.
  9. Just googled him. He was drafted 2019 by cards. So this is his 4th year in nfl though its his 3rd team. Guess Cards don't develop wrs and if they don't hit they reload.
  10. We could have drafted our center for the Josh Allen era of Bills football. Morse is not bad as 2nd prize but he's also got more we esr and tear and shelf life is ticking for his career. Much like Eric Wood had to retire for health concerns.
  11. And allows or Bates to give either starter a few plays if they need a breather. Rookies sometimes hit a lil patch they haven't been conditioned to the longer season. Plus opponents are all NFL caliber which is more of a pounding in trenches than college.
  12. Yea he doesn't get all the reps in practice so he's gonna get time he's just watching and I'm sure it feels better with some of the cool days we gèt compared to his home in CA. Big reason some FA don't flick to northern teams and the warmer teams get some advantage in that regard.
  13. He was drafted same year as Allen? I thought he was a fave mock pick to help a promising Allen?
  14. Indeed. Bruce Smith sure did live up to his overall 1 round pick. I don't know all 1st round overall picks in nfl history let alone just the SB era but I would think it has a shot of being best overall no 1 pick and what they did in career.
  15. So perhaps this Bills team is the first to run with 12 personnel successfully on an unprecedented percentage of time. I mean it isn't like the 90s K-gun based nò huddle, the hurry up portion wasn't a new concept. The fact a team could run it so proficiently for majority of games was a testament to their conditioning. We may be witnessing a new system that will be copied unsuccessfully by other teams. It will also spawn new defenses to try to limit it.
  16. This is gonna be his 3rd year in league? 3rd team at any rate iirc from the bits I've read recently. Seems like unless a player is a unicorn somewhere they take some time to learn the pro game. Harder still when you're a smaller guy given the physical toll of playing football. His speed is up there its just not unmatched in past or current players. Maybe his àbility to learning our E - P system concepts gives him an edge. He maybe just now starting to understand what to do to get open. Of course it helps when ur not the only weapon on field. Takes fewer hits I'm sure.
  17. This is to address your concern over the 2nd meeting in OP. I have no crystal ball and never met anyone with unmistakable clairvoyance. So my take is yes the Jets offense will be more robust that game. However our offense will have had evolved a large degree as well and to be honest I think the Jets defense gets pùnched in the mouth repeatedly and might be the future reason sauce gardener signs a contract to be a Bill. I mean if I'm gonna use my imagination of what possibilities there are I'm gonna tailor it to benefit the Bills long term. And I do like seeing Bills punch opponents in the mouth offensively speaking.
  18. It could be this and if so as you say they aren't gonna let it get out so defenders would try get a few shots in to take limit Allen. It could also just be he took some shots and has a bruise upper arm and or elbow. Could be a grass burn they have wrapped and know the media frenzy it would generate. It could also be the skin graft was torn from the elbow area that you can clearly see the bionic elbow Josh had implanted this offseason. I would have embedded the voice over from the 6 million dollar man just we all know Josh is worth more than Lee majors. Talk about inflation.
  19. I let the coaches decide who fits better for their plans. Today teams don't give talented wrs the time to develop properly, so it's common to have alot of untapped talent that may thrive within our system. It's true for any of the cut players. They all could perhaps thrive in another system than the one they failed in. Josh and the teams success will keep the supply of these players signing every year.
  20. I'm not overly concerned which of these guys make the team ss the bottom wrs, as those that get cut may just get signed later in season if we run into any injury or any performance problems by the bottom guys. I mean they won't sign who they cut if Shakir has a few rough games unless it is clearly lack of effort there. But we will have more options than when Beasley was hurt before the pĺayoffs.
  21. While I have nothing against Shakir and think he will develop but hard to know how much. To date his contributions are not such that you cannot move on if someone is outperforming him. There's also possibility that Isabella is willing to be placed on PS with a handshake dealt not sign on another team if any try to sign him away.
  22. Oh I don't expect they go exclusively no huddle like the 90s teams because I think Josh is so much more talented as a qb than Kelly ever was. And I agree there's the downside to your own defense. It will be a handy tool to use if the defenses get a bit too aggressive and we use it as a punch in the mouth to get them reeling and back off. Then Josh can dictate what the Bills do while the defenses he faces are clearing their heads. Basically have our offense become the bully Rex wanted the Bills defense to be when he was hired. Except Josh and the offense has enough talent to do some damage. Ŕex was all talk and players weren't buying his message.
  23. While I do think Kincaid will play alot in the slot it's a nice change up to go from Kincaid to the speed Isabella can bring to the slot. Think of the possible variations can do if they have both Kincaid and Isabella on the field and they go hurry up not allowing a substitution by defenders and you switch who's in the slot. I'm thinking we are gonna see more no huddle elements as Josh expands his ability to ŕead ďefenses and having so many weapons to counter whatever the defenses throw at them.
  24. I won't be surprised if he gets better at his press conferences. Likely is not something he has done much work on and I'm more than ok if he only addresses that after he becomes the latest OC wonder guiding Allen thru a record setting offensive season with a SB Lombardi as the final touch.
  25. I heard cousin Vinny admonish the judge on how many fingers he was holding up so I'll pass answering that. I expect competence from Iowa lineman. He faces plenty of defensive stars let's see him dominate some of the top players he faces consistently.
