Game Day Thread? Bills @ Steelers 8/19

Indeed. We never hear him doing anything in his offseason to improve its like he just riding Josh Allen's ability to avoid pressure. He needs to be replaced Josh deserves much better. -

Can't blame a coach if a starter Dawkins doesn't keep in shape or even seem to do anything in off season to improve his game. Just adding some strength and muscle might be a good start. -

At the very least the chance for a longer career. Learn system well enough for mop up duty and sitting out starters since the team wrapped up 1 seed earlier. -

Think he wasn't too humble but was too hungry and just helped himself to too many helpings. -

Especially since many excused the late season dive to injuries and the emotional toll of Damar. Ok they should all be healthy and having Damar playing with no hesitancy should give the team a boost so I'd expect a better outing here. But as it is preseason I really can care less as I don't know what they were looking for. I didn't expect ànything but vanilla for playcalls. Favorite toppings in wins should be saved for regular season. -
I was upset that that Bills front office didn't deal with him f as irly. Ì couldn't blame him for finding a team that treated him fairly. Am even glad he got to win a SB with the Eagles.

Lol I didn't notice that auto correct... maybe the ai is trying to say our ol tackles play like little girls.....
-
Then why pay 250 mil plus for a Franchise QB if you plan to Nicole and dime keeping him healthy and earning his contract.
-
Perhaps, and I have no info one way or the other, he truly loves playing the game even if his position deals a pounding. As you point out he has earned alot of money and after 20 yrs he will draw a significant pension. Plus with his resume he could open a oline camp and rake in money just coaching up current rostered players that could pay him decent coin. I could see him get a coaching gig for decent money if he was needy in that depth. So I tend to think he just loves the game and the beating. .

He wouldn't need too. Read he is very good at mentoring teammates so perhaps he is wanting to transition int9o coaching. Maybe he signs as insurance if either ot starter has a rough game against a particular opponent you let Jsson Peter's take that opponent to the shed so to speak. And maybe he can help that starter with techniques to handle that player going forward.
-
Does he need to? I'm sure they can play him sparingly authentic others improve and hear he is a great mentor so maybe he is looking to transition to to coaching post playing days. Maybe offer him that after he is our swing tackle and when one of our tackles finds a game opponent too much to handle let Peter's take that opponent to the shed.

Isabella shows moves, will he make the roster?

Or likely stashed on ps so if needed they call him up. Why pay him to be a cheerleader on the bench. Bad look not paying the Jill's in retrospect if that is the case. -
Not ideal no. That's why the FO makes decisions to bring in middle of road prospects with some exp. Gotta find the players where it clicks here for whatever reason. Opportunity to play and get better with the reps at the position, a better fit schematically or skillset compliments what skills the other players have. I mean we don't see a Thurman Thomas with his all purpose yards from scrimmage if he had a QB that had an aversion to throwing the ball to a running back. So it always matters how a player fits in with the other players on a team.

Personally I prefer a team that has hard decisions each year. Means the team is always looking at their options. There is a reason the average nfl career is so low. There will always be new players that will outplay older vets or the love of the game is finally overruled by the physical toll of the game. I have no problem letting Brown earn the position but if he doesn't improve then he should be replaced once they find someone with more upside and that could be just age. Age can make or break you in the NFL. Some positions exp and years honing skills for that position is enough to keep younger talent on the bench but more commonly age and uninjured history trumps a vet that can no longer keep pace.

I would like to think that Jason is not gonna hold any grudge against the Current FO of the Bills they had nothing to do with his past with Bills. In fact the Bills are the reason he didn't wash out of the league as a nothing special JAG at TE. Some coach back on that old Bills team saw potential for him at OT. I doubt it was Jason initiating the switch to playing OT so he should look back with a bit of gratitude that he began his HoF career as a Bill who gave him his initial opportunity. I am 100% certain there are numerous HoF worthy players at any football position out in the regular world that we will never know about because they never got the opportunity to show their ability. Most because those people pursuex other interests they held over playing football.

All-Pro DT Chris Jones not at Chiefs Mandatory Minicamp
AuntieEm replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
Don't really know if it's real or not. Do know there is some questionable decisions made by some players. I can wish bad fortune on the person or persons that are responsible for that Twitter garbage and that be if it's the player or some idiots thinkìng that's funny. -
I have the Bills 53 man roster right here
AuntieEm replied to Matt_In_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yea unless a mid and lower drsft pick really shines they really shouldn't be making a team as good as the Bills are currently. -
I liked Chad Pennington think he was a decent talent till injury made him useless.

I agree this is a really bad look. There are certainly reason that are legit for a gofundme being set up this is not one. I don't ever wish injury on a player but I admit I don't mind seeing jerks that do stuff like this find life deals them a few unpleasant surprises to get there head straight on priorities.
