  1. Yea his plan worked on getting them some additional reps and playing time, has to be with another team since we be busy getting to the SB no time for reps for developmental purposes.
  2. Yea be totally okay if he uses 2nd round picks to draft pore olineman where they are needed guard. Tackle center until we have a top oline. After that he can do whatever he wants.
  3. Yea it is dangerous to be near any implosion. Think the Bills will be able to light the fuse and take enough cover to be ßafe while watching the ensuing fireworks. Will they show the implosion on hard Knocks is the question.
  4. They didn't this fa period but there are alot of young talented qbs in the league now that are intriguing to talented wrs. As Josh does pull away from the pack to cement his skills as superior (I believe he will prove he's the best) more and more of the top guys looking to have a chance at a ring will be giving the Bills a lot of consideration. Not every top wr will be open to taking a lower paying contract but there will be those that will trade salary for opportunity for Lombardi. Then you got some players that only want to play for their favorite teams they grew up cheering for. I expect we will see more vet signings with Bills because they are a top contender. I prefer some vets that want the ring but firmly believe they are a missing piece to a talented contender rather than the vet who wants a ring and doesn't need to feel he contributed in any big way. Like shady McCoy ended up with 2 Rings but in either case do any of us feel he earned them by his stellar playing during those winning teams sb seasons? I certainly don't think he was a f a coordinator in either of his sb winning seasons, other than being on those teams rosters.
  5. Or Bernard could develop nicely to where we all call him that helpful dog. ST BERNARD. Hey it could happen our team is full of Dawgs!!
  6. Yes can easily do that when you build up the ol to be a solid unit. We are spoiled with Josh's play that who knows if we get to see a QB that's a fit for Buffalo as Josh is. I am content we got Josh and I rather they prioritize the oline as it benefits any QB as well as all the weapons as they won't need to chip block just to give a play a chance if you get solid oline everything you try offensively is that much easier.
  7. I like Allen cashing in big on endorsements, means if they need a little wiggle room to free money for a upgrade on oline that Josh could take a cut to fit any in in future. Cause the nutritional value is enhanced by the cutlery you use to eat it. Cause the nutritional value is enhanced by the cutlery you use to eat it.
  8. I call him cookie myself
  9. Yea nice guy but the glaring accuracy issues.
  10. Well I'm willing to see how he does after he's had time with practicing with team and knowing playbook better. When u got so much talent in ur qb1 u aren't gonna find a great match for qb2.
  11. Wonder if his early career injuries were because some of his ol were team other rostered qb. Team chemistry is important I'd not sign any players that promote dissent when things don't go their way.
  12. I think they just decided to go in alphabetical order so Josh gets first crack at keeping the starter job but they are close with j and k being so close in pecking order.
  13. I got no problems with adjustments for us AARP crowd. I know our gen certainly earned it. Maybe not as fully as our parents generation which I think we're the best generation of the past 100 years. Hard to go further back with all the advancements making things more productive for them.
  14. How can you have a proper fight club if you go and talk about it.
  15. I have no problems if he does. And don't think the Bills worry either. Plenty of talented wrs will wanna have Josh as their QB.
  16. Is that why Dareus wore that captains hat? Who knew.....
  17. Which ì think is why he posts his priority is winning so that alerts bottom feeding teams not to bother with sending his a gent any offers. He is after a chance to win a ring and the Financials is secondary to him at this point. Yet even after trade deadline if a vet was claimed on waivers if he truly doesn't want to play for that claiming team he could just not even put in any effort to play if they try force issue.
  18. This is where it pays to have a GM that is highly respected and trusted by the majority of agents. They can come to fair compromises that benefit both players and team. I'd say besides the fact Buffalo is a top contender it doesn't hurt they got good rehab facilities. Perhaps his injury prone days can be put in the past.
  19. I believe any ps player is basically a FA in that they can be offered a spot on a 53 man roster and they decide whether or not to take that opportunity. A young player may think he's the next Hof talent at his position and want to prove it already. Also pay difference may sway a younger player, butfinsl decision is players. They could take offer and ask Bills to bump up ps pay if they want to stay a Bill but say they have some financial needs....
  20. And they may not. The injury settlement is to protect young players from being stashed and lose a year if playing time. A vet may be happy to have a shorter season. They know the NFL is a grind and they aren't as young so they welcome the breaks.
  21. Matters only whether McDermott wants to risk it. They know what all the current players look like in schemes they are using.
  22. As well as an owner willing to spend $$. I assume he will get a higher rate whole on practice squad. And with rotation if we get competent play from all the lbs then that keeps them that much fresher thru the postseason grind. Easy to come out flat for even an important game when you are dealing with bumps bruises.
  23. Guess there dome wiggle room when they agree to injury settlement if it's say4 weeks recovery he could resign after additional 4 weeks or so someone says that's how it works.
  24. Lol you can say most of the leagues OL are trash. Playing in the trenches is not alot of fun and the glamor goes to Pass Rushers more than the guys protecting the star QBs. There are a couple Eagles probably has the best and they have always seemed to invest well in OL hence Bills losing Jason Peters years ago. I for one believe the drought would have ended much sooner had we kept Jason Peters all his career.
  25. Well they are posting his priority is winning so this wins on a number of points. He'll have time to learn the defense, they can even rotate the lbs if they all perform well in schemes they run. Read he's good friends with Hyde and Poyer was it? If so, easy to think they discuss various schemes they play in in offseason and might have him up to speed in no time. And easy enough to move players to from ps, though not sure of all the tweaks they may have in place for practice squads. However since to be signed off another PS the player has to agree and a vet knows the grass is not always greener when you chase the $$.
