How much time have you spent thinking about this game.
stevestojan replied to Stroke 17's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have a one year old. He just turned one two weeks ago. So he’s all over the place, constantly searching for the most dangerous things in our house. One must be on their toes at all times. It’s a full time job and then some. Oh, this wasn’t the parenting thread? Well, to answer your question: non stop every day and sometimes in my dreams if I leave YouTube highlights playing while I fall asleep. My little dude will be ok - chicks dig scars. -
jeez. This was awesome. Thanks.

I truly wish I had this mindset (really. It’s a compliment). All I can think about this week is how bass will miss a game winner, or the refs will throw a defensive holding call with 30 seconds left to let the chiefs win another one, or how Josh will have to go Superman and put up insane stats just to let McD do something stupid and ruin it again. You know, the standard stuff. My wife often asks if I even enjoy watching the games. I do. I look forward to them. But I can see where she’s coming from. i think decades of below average play and more importantly at least 10 soul crushing “billsy” losses have me jaded. Hell, after the onside recovery last week all I kept saying was “clean snap boys” when all we were doing was kneeling it down. I just wish I could share your optimism. It would make this whole “being a fan” thing more fun.

I think he’s just made to weigh closer to 180. But I agree with the sentiment. That $27 million guaranteed stings.

There will be MONTHS of time to talk about this. The board should only be filled with nervous energy about the AFCCG. OK, going back to pacing.

Josh wanted to lateral on that 3rd and goal

My takeaway from your post is I should be an ESPN commentator. -

I didn’t see a topic on this. Might not be worth it. You’ll let me know. Josh went full 2020 for a split second when he got stuffed on that 3rd and goal. He saw Cook and - to me anyway - it looked like it took everything he’s learned over the last 3 years to just take the sack and survive to live another down and not go Superman to try an insanely low percentage play. My heart sank when I saw it - but just another example of this being the best year for Josh despite the numbers being slightly lower. Growth and maturity. Oh and rocket arm and MVP and the only quarterback in NFL history.

Since our next man up in the secondary is Wolf Blitzer, I’d definitely take a guy who has played the position and knows the team on a flyer. Why not? Speaking of secondary, where is Hyde?

Potential NFC representative in the Super Bowl

Jeez. That would be some cold, stale, revenge. I’m here for it. -
I think this might be it. Same reason Hollins was in so much, despite nearly begging the refs to hand him 15 yards - he’s top 2 blocking WRs in the league, and he’s not number 2.

One of the benefits of moving away from WNY is you only get the national narrative on the bills, and not the local. Turns out the former thinks the bills are far superior to the latter. It’s nice.
