  1. It makes perfect sense. But it seems you can't understand that so I'll give an example. If a QB has their team at the opponent 40, down by 5 points, with 1 second left and throws a laser touchdown pass as time expires, did he win the game? Yep. Same quarterback tosses an incomplete pass, did he lose the game? That FG attempt was not in SN's range. And saying "he had plenty of distance" shows what little you know. Do you think that the fact that he had to drill it just maybe had something to do with it sailing right? Sadly people think Finkle is Norwood.
  2. I agree with your comments, but just one clarifying question: WHAT?
  3. Yep. But unfortunately for Scott, showing that fail isn't nearly sexy for the networks that show the missed kick 35 times a day leading up to every SB since.
  4. We saw how talented Marv Levy really was in XXV. We saw how weak the AFC was in that time period in XXVI, XXVII, and XXVIII. Norwoods fault? Are you !@#$ing kidding me? How many touches did TT have that game? He was AVERAGING 9 yards per carry and we used him 15 times? Outcoached horrendously.
  5. Bayless is espn's "bad guy." Just like WWF used to have undertaker et al. He's a character to force people to hate him and talk about daytime espn. This thread proves that it works.
  6. I can refer you to some great movers.
  7. Great info sir! Thanks!
  8. I ended up getting a place in Chevy Chase. It's called the Archstone at Wisconsin Place. While a bit over my original price range it has some nice benefits. It's right on the red line - so much so that you can get to the redline through my parking garage. But the best part is that it's approximately 100 steps door to door for work. I will be able to sell my car because of this. For the wife, it's walking distance to endless shopping. Thanks for the advice above.
  9. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Settle down with all these "facts." Implications and the word Steroids make for a much better story. There's no room for truth in this discussion - especially since we can go and say "only CAUGHT once." You and your voice of reason.
  10. Would ya?
  11. I have 7. However my "balance" is only 3. Each and every one well deserved.
  12. A Spanish Water Polo player. I'm 6'6 and 242. I'm certain this website assumed my weight is carried in my arms, neck, shoulders, chest and not buried in the beergut but the Internet is never wrong so I guess I'm svelt.
  13. Class act. He stopped an interviewer to recognize the US national anthem being played. This is a potential spoiler as this was posted today so I'm not sure if it happened today or last night and whether or not the American who won gold isn't televised until tonight. But I think it's an awesome move on his part. http://larrybrownsports.com/olympics/usain-bolt-stops-during-interview-national-anthem/149381
  14. Where else would you rather be?
  15. To other countries: get better at basketball. !@#$ the other teams. I'm not apologizing that we dominate. USA!
  16. Oh I can. I don't drink on nights before work but I'm certain there's been a Saturday going to breakfast where my alchohol blood content was questionable.
  17. Maybe because Scott charges $0 for us to be here, running a site of this size is EXPENSIVE, and ad revenue is the only $ coming in, and I'd guess Scott does not break even. So if you want to determine what ads are shown, make an offer for your own ad to take its place.
  18. With or without the egg. If I recall, the egg was optional. Or was it the pickle juice? I remember one of the ingredients was optional, just can recall which.
  19. You want me to read an entire wiki page? Tell me why he's a bad ass.
  20. Fixed it for ya.
  21. I just wish mine didn't look so much like a cell tower. Any contractors here that can help me out?
  22. No idea how long it's been since I've started a topic outside of Off The Wall. But right now I'm watching ESPN2 fellating the Patriots. I think the whole "Pats*" thing is ridiculous. They are just good. But I !@#$ing HATE them. That's all.
  23. A back hoe? There's an app for that.
  24. I got a new position at work and I'll be moving to Washington DC area in the next month or so. I have work helping me with the move but would love some recommendations. My work is actually in Chevy Chase MD. The obvious issue is that if I want to live directly in DC the price per square foot is absurd. But I will only be there for 2 years max so part of me says screw it, live in the city. That said, friends and co-workers have me narrowed down to the following: Alexandria, Arlington, Bethesda, and Rockville. What we are looking for is to be close to good food and entertainment but also close to public transit. I know nothing about the "red line" but have heard Rockville is nice but it is "the second last stop on the redline." I would like to keep in a budget of < $2100/mo and would really prefer 2 bedrooms. We are open to rental houses or apartments. I tell you those details so those that know these area can have a point of reference. Any help is appreciated.
