  1. I love Eichel. But how do we go 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, ... Edmonton? The lottery is confusing.
  2. I'm just ready for it be over and start the Eichel era in Buffalo. If we get Connor, wonderful. Either way, I want to know which will lead us to the playoffs. Eichel. Murrca.
  3. You got this man! Thinking of you and your family.
  4. Purposely "admit fault" so he could appeal with a new defense team? I'd hope there's rules against that.
  5. A million dollars isnt what it used to be. But give me a million right now and I can make it make $45000 yearly without even thinking about it. And that's from a guy who went to a SUNY school and graduated with a mediocre at best GPA. I feel bad for none of them. Sure, right now my life would change drastically if I only had 45k to live off of, but I sure as hell wouldn't have to file bankruptcy. Oh and don't forget that $1 principle in this example is still sitting there for "emergencies."
  6. I heard the prosecution asked to have her recused. When she refused, they appealed. For her to oversee that trial as well as she did after that tells me a lot about her professionalism and experience. I mean, even judges are human.
  7. Turns out Kraft's testimony sealed his fate: http://espn.go.com/boston/nfl/story/_/id/12696046/aaron-hernandez-trial-jurors-say-testimony-new-england-patriots-owner-robert-kraft-compelling Also, I think it was amazing that the judge, who previously denied allowing his previous crimes and other accusations into evidence, met with the jury and let them know about those in a private meeting afterwards.
  8. If that's really the case, which I don't disagree with, then didn't his attorneys admit guilt when they said he was there in their closing?
  9. Sad all around. I'm shocked they went guilty. Not because I don't think he did it but because there certainly were two others who COULD have pulled the trigger. Either way, he was present during a felony.
  10. Wow that seems unnecessarily complicated.
  11. It's attractive because we have an owner who parts with his money as if he hates it. Nolan was past his time. I'm still not exactly sure why the undying love for the guy. He did, after all, despite trying really hard not to, finish in dead last. Sure, not a ton of talent, but why is it surprising that the guy that finished dead last lost his job?
  12. Honestly, I'd prefer Eichel. But either one is a franchise changin player.
  13. The happiest I've been in 2 decades as a buffalo sports fan.
  14. I ask my mirror that every morning.
  15. Same way you know when your croutons go stale.
  16. With my dad, at his house. You couldn't pay me to go to the actual game due to how bad my nerves would be and my first memories of the Bills are with the old man.
  17. Thank you, sir.
  18. So I'm sure I'm answering my own question here, but the magic number is 1 now because we somehow own the tiebreaker?
  19. Come on Arizona!!! Hold onto this one!!!
  20. Don't !@#$ this one up boys.
  21. Yes sir he owned it through both of those decades.
  22. Needed that, you old bastard!
  23. Gramps was a die hard Bills fan. He was Serbian, and proud as hell of it. He was a war veteran. He owned a house in Colden, just down the street from Kissing Bridge, and directly next door to his tavern which he owned for over 5 decades, "Danny's Inn." It's changed name several times since, but it will never be Danny's Inn again. The food was great (especially the wings), the skiiers loved him, and he made a living for his family (yes, he had many Bills players as regulars, and Mr. Ralph Wilson and him were friends, but he loved the regulars - and when his family showed up? Holy hell, the pride in his face.... ). The house next door, his for 70+ years, was humble. But it was where I celebrated every Christmas Eve - and humble house and blue collar living or no, there were more presents than anyone could count. It was also the place where I watched Mr. Norwood miss that kick by what seemed like a centimeter. Possibly the last time, tonight excluded, that I can remember crying. It's where he told me, at a very young age "Stevie, don't stick your finger in ****, because it stinks." This was his way of telling me not to hang out with the wrong crowd. Best advice I have ever received. He loved his family. He loved telling good jokes. He loved telling REALLY bad jokes. But he was always our biggest fan and supporter. He was our partiarch. Tonight, he passed away. Gramps, tonight, you'll be able to see again, you'll be able to walk without pain, and you'll have the most delicious icy cold can of Blue and shot of Crown ever made. I always wanted the Bills to win one before Grandpa died, but now I just want him to be happy, and I have absolutely no doubt he is.
