Thanks Augie. My dad worked for 41 years at HSBC downtown. Let’s just say he wasn’t “passionate” about that job. But he did it to pay for everything our family of six had and to pay for all my sisters and me to go to college. He loves golf. LOVES IT. Shot his first hole in one several years ago; it was in the Buffalo news I got very lucky with work and make enough where I can afford to take him. So, last year for Father’s Day, I sent him a plane ticket to Atlanta. He called and said “what the ***** is this?” I already had the passes set up, an Airbnb, and everything else set up. According to my sisters and my mom, it took him weeks to stop talking about how excited he was to go. This post sounds like I’m bragging for being a good son. Far from it. My 74 year old Dad deserves to walk Augusta National and have Pimento cheese samdwhich and a beer on Masters Sunday. And yes, if he knew how much I spent, he’d pretend to be pissed off.

Taking my dad to Augusta for Sunday of the Masters this year. Passes were NOT cheap (you actually rent passes, sign a contract longer than my mortgage to get them) but he’s a huge golf fan and got me into the game. Should be a cool trip.

I’d give it to the guy who runs the clock if he puts it on 3x speed so I can go to bed.

Other Fun bets I’m considering: Heads or Tails on coin toss. (Even odds) Will the person who calls the coin toss call it correctly? (Even odds) Pick Heads/Tails AND the correct team (3:1 odds) Will any QB throw a flea flicker? (Yes is 2.5:1 odds) Will more than two players throw a TD pass (yes is 12:1 odds) Color of the Gatorade dumped on the wining coach (various odds based on Color, purple is the favorite). Will an offensive lineman score a TD? (20:1 odds). The jersey # of the first player to score a TD, over or under 26.5. Will there be any scoring drive that takes LESS time than the singing of the national anthem? No pays 3:1. Will any kick (XP or FG) hit an upright or the crossbar? 14:1 that’s just a few. There are currently 540 things you can bet on on DK. And since I couldn’t give a ***** about who wins this game, I might as well lose some money while watching it and eating more variations of cheese products than a human ever should. Draft kings makes up for it by allowing a bet for whether any scoring drive will be longer/shorter than the singing time of the anthem.

When I started this thread I didn’t realize Josh Allen was playing in this game.

The over is currently -113. Vegas knows that this was once of the worst offensive quarters for either team and it’s still on pace for 54. Everyone running to play the under will get hurt. Badly.
