  1. No, of course I don’t want .500. But if we’re going to go 2-14, I want it to be because we said “!@#$ it, Allen is the guy, and let’s let him learn.” That said: 1) I’m a drunk 2) with this O-line, and when the money is really on the line for DEs and LBs, I don’t want Josh getting CTE in week 1.
  2. Any idea who the strong link is after those first couple drives?
  3. I didn’t mean tonight. Sorry if that’s how it came across. I just mean Peterman played stellar last week, and to me (which means nothing) is our best chance THIS YEAR of going .500. The kid won’t win us games but reps can’t hurt. AJ will be a nice mentor/surface holder.
  4. Why are we playing with AJ’s emotions? He won’t be our starter. Either Peterman or just roll the dice and go 2-14 with Allen.
  5. I’ll be 40 in 18 months.
  6. Who is that drunk old man sideline reporting?
  7. What’s most concerning is that I think I was his age when I joined this board. Now he’s “a kid.”
  8. Let’s see the kid.
  9. Holy hell this kid is going to be great. That arm is stupid. Imagine if that’s Benjamin on the other end of that toss.
  10. EXACTLY. Here’s what most forget: when the “third string” QB gets into the game, they don’t bring back the 1st string O-line. Imagine him with a decent line and not some future gas station workers in front of him?
  11. Fun fact: while I agree with your overall point, using the word “retard” will never make people change their point of view. It’s also offensive to most people who have any sense and/or are above the age of 14.
  12. You don’t. That’s why he’ll be selling real estate in September.
  13. He needs time. But that arm is insane. Peterman gets is to 6-10 to 8-8, and I’m excited about that son of a B word Allen.
  14. You have to make a tackle to save your job in the 4th quarter of a preseason NFL game. You miss that tackle. The rest of your life, you tell people how you “played in the NFL” while you’re sitting in a cubicle.
  15. Sadly, I wish Kyle had retired after last year. Why sad? Because as a Bills fan, the playoffs are our SB. I understand and why he didn’t. He loves the game and it’s a !@#$ ton of money. But I hate the thought of him retiring after a 6-10 season after that amazing New Year’s Eve.
  16. In slow motion, sure. But in real time, he made a !@#$ing tackle. Like I said, the same tackle he made since he was 6 years old in little loop.
  17. I hate that penalty. HATE. Yes, We got 15 yards but that is so subjective that mark my words, that will interfere with the playoffs this year. Someone was just making a tackle he’s made since he was 6 years old in little loop and it’s 15 yards?
  18. That first throw of his gave me so much hope for the 2019 Bills. Seriously. When have we had a guy who could throw a ball that far and hit his receiver on the hands? Yes, it was out of bounds, but to throw that while simultaneously shitting yourself with your first NFL snap? Impressive.
  19. As a youth, my goal was to always beat as quietly as possible. I guess that doesn’t fit on a New Era cap.
  20. Honest question: Why do teams play all #1s and #2s together? For example, if we think Peterman is the starter, why play Benjamin with him? We know Benjamin will start. Wouldn’t it make more sense to play two of these guys who are vying for the #2 spot to play with the starting QB?
  21. Let’s see the kid. One snap is enough for me to evaluate AJ.
  22. “Beat louder.” Christ on a popsicle stick, that’s awful on so many levels.
  23. Can we talk about how it seems like just yesterday that I was sitting on my living room floor praying to any god that would listen that the Bengals defense would hold on for those last 30 seconds?
  24. If Ivory catches that, he’s dead (or hit very hard, but hyperbole is fun.) it’s preseason. I’ll take an INT vs a rung bell for our #2 RB.
