Who is to blame for our lack of Lombardis?
stevestojan replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall
Marv Levy. In SB25, Thurman was running at 9 yards a clip and only touched the ball 15 times. Yes, Jimbo called plays, but this falls squarely on Marv. edit: realized this said “recently” after I posted. That answer is of course Tyler Bass’ refusal to wear eye black on both sides of his face. -
Well I’m sure that won’t be talked about for decades if the Bengals end up winning.

This half time show is incredible. Best in YEARS.
-
Why the hell did the bengals call a timeout on 3rd down
-
So that penalty basically turned that INT into a good punt for the Rams.
-
And THAT’S why rushing a million isn’t always the answer.
-
Gonna need a smaller chair in that booth.

Why do Bills fans love this video so much? That play is more impressive for Brady than anything else. He gets hit by a truck and pops right back up. I couldn’t stand Brady for most of his career, but this video should be on a Patriots/Bucs message board highlighting how tough that whiny little ***** could be.

Don't be surprised if Josh Allen has a bumpy 2022

I will choose to be surprised if he has a bumpy year. -
How long did the chiefs have the ball in overtime? 😉
-
Wow. They just panicked. That was awful.

Regardless of who wins this game, the TV ratings for the SB are not going to break any records.

Someone (likely many someones) had to have put a gross amount of cash on the KC money line despite the relatively low return for a “guaranteed” pay day. That’s why they play the games and why 13 seconds wasn’t any guarantee. Happy for the Bengals fans.
-
The Bengals keeping it close is cathartic. Maybe this wouldn’t have been a cake walk.
-
TD and they didn’t leave KC enough time to score before the half.

If you depend on your dish for pornhub, probably. Otherwise, it can wait til spring.

I’m really starting to think we might have had a chance at the super bowl if we had held onto that lead last week. Has anyone else considered that? Haven’t seen it posted.
-
Let’s be honest, the other 59:47 weren’t pretty either.

If the Chiefs destroy the Bungles, the positive there is that we, and the National media and everyone else will know that we’re absolutely the (second) best team in the AFC (and therefore league). But the negative is clearly that if Edmunds was even marginally serviceable, we would be the ones handing Burrow and crew this loss as we coast our way to SB glory. The only real negative to the Bungles winning is that last weeks game becomes slightly less meaningful. The positive is that it leaves a more livable “who knows what would have happened this week; Cincy is for real” feeling. Therefore, I’ll be rooting for the Bengals while the game is still close, then with 9 minutes left in the first quarter, with KC up by 17, I’ll probably just enjoy Mahomes talent and circus throws.

Favorite moment(s) from the 2021 season
stevestojan replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Getting on my flight out of Jacksonville. The game sucked of course, but that city smells like rotting garbage. -
Exactly. I think fans loved his antics more than his play. I fell for his heroics to at the NE game, but there’s a reason he is where he is in the depth chart. He’ll never be WR2. He’s replaceable. Moving on.

If this week isn't painful enough, 31 years ago today....
stevestojan replied to gomper's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wide Right is the worst, no question. 13 seconds is most recent so it hurts but that kick sails 6 feet to the left and the entire history of the Bills changes. I was 11 and remember it like it was yesterday. -
Allen declines invitation to play in Pro Bowl
stevestojan replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
You’re right. Almost forgot about that. Expecting your wide receivers to have to move, or jump, or even extend their arms is a real concerning sign for our “franchise quarterback.” Ok, this sarcasm is getting so deep I’m making myself sick.
