  1. With all the “chiefs were gifted” or “bills are robbed” or whatever nonsense, I think this link will help you turn that frown upside down. I’d recommend starting reading from the last several pages.
  2. There’s so much wrong with what you just said (mainly that you’re glued to your TV watching this, yet somehow only I am giving the NFL money. You see those commercials and ads in the stadium while you’re watching this “show?” Your eyeballs seeing them cost the advertisers - hence NFL revenue - the exact same as for my viewing.) But let’s agree to disagree; I gotta run, Roger just texted me to tell me I’ve already said too much.
  3. You got me! I’m secretly on the NFL’s payroll. Actually, I’m just old enough now to not get red faced and cry “the refs are out to get us!!” every time a play goes the way of one of our rivals. Did you see that holding call against the chiefs before their TD? I assume Goodell called down to Vegas because he wanted Patrick to get another passing TD.
  4. Yep. Seems tee times have surpassed pride at this point.
  5. Would you add an extra break to your workday if you were going on vacation tomorrow?
  6. What was the joke? Honest question. Because I’m trying in 2023 to see other view points. The “pass interference” was bang bang and hit the damn WR in both hands. And once again, that was almost the Miriam Webster definition of roughing the passer. He swung his damn arm in a swim move and hit Mahommes in the head. Replace Mahommes with Josh in that play and you bet your ass he gets the flag. We now also have a QB who “gets the calls” (see: he’s really ***** good and every opposing team thinks the NFL is part of a grand scheme to get them both in the AFCCG).
  7. I think that’s because there wasn’t DPI (it did, however, hit the WR in the hands and he dropped it) and it absolutely was RTP. It’s getting to the point where we sound petty/bitter thinking every call for the Chiefs is some grand scheme by the NFL.
  8. Guys, that is damn near the definition of roughing the passer. This isn’t a “blowing Mahommes” call. It was just a dumb play by the defender.
  9. Yep, that’s roughing the passer. With zero reason to do it.
  10. “Chiefs have the worst red zone defense in the NFL”. Proceed to hold the raiders to zero points.
  11. That is my least favorite Buffalo sports event. I’ve been to two Sabres/Leafs (and shouldn’t it be Leaves?) in Buffalo and the god forsaken “go leafs go” is unbearable.
  12. This is not the type of game you can let 6 points just get dropped.
  13. I’ve seen guys try to defend Mahommes run game 1:1. From the 2 yard line it doesn’t work.
  14. I mean how do you defend that TD play?
  15. There is a “you reap what you sow” joke in there somewhere.
  16. It’s spelled “Derek Carr.” 😉
  17. 1) interesting to see the Raiders also chose a neutral field. Where the F are the raiders fans? 2) can we just appreciate how awesome it was to hear a “moment of celebration” instead of a moment of silence? Incredible.
  18. This is actually a really solid idea. I saw Simon mentioned Canton but I could see a stadium in somewhere like (and I have no idea if those places have college stadiums so if one is already there, my apologies): Austin, Memphis, St Louis, San Diego, or OKC. Bring in revenue for concerts and whatnot and have a place when ***** hits the fan. I think each of those cities could support this.
  19. That has to be the first time in human history those words have been used together in a sentence. And weirdly it made perfect sense and was accurate. What a world.
  20. The absolute first ballot HOFer here is Matt Gaetz. I know it’s easy to say “I don’t care what your political beliefs are” when saying something controversial but having an agenda. But I really mean it this time; no matter your political affiliation, he objectively has a genetically perfect punchable face. It’s more impressive since this is 100% subjective statement.
  21. Awesome thread. Thanks for all the recommendations!
  22. We just got a new Dog. He’s a rescue “beagle” (we’re pretty sure he’s beagle basset mix ) He’s awesome, his name is Doug, but since we were used to our 15 year old dog who moved about four times a day, getting used to this puppy-esque energy. That said, I don’t think you can put your ten week old in the backyard when they get fussy. But I’m no parenting expert. Kidding aside, congrats on the newest Bills fan and hope you get some sleep soon.
  23. Definitely thought this was a 10am (1pm) kickoff. I’m currently watching a marathon of Diners Drive In and Dives for … checks watch … the next two and a half hours.
  24. As expected by all when the season started, the Jaguars win and they’re in. 😐
  25. Beane is undisputed NFL Executive of the Year, correct? (Would be his second in 3 years). Managing the countless moving pieces, player and staff emotional well being, and communicating as much as possible when appropriate, all with the entire world watching, with his standard of giving all credit to others, (sorry, lots of commas)… kudos to Brandon yet again.
