Whenever I see these old clips I struggle to remember: was the score really not always on the screen or are these just cropped to not show it? I was two years old for this particular game, but even as I start remembering my first games, do I recall that we had to wait for the score to show up if we missed parts of the game?

I am normally squarely in the “Beane can do no wrong” camp, but I’m really struggling to understand this one. Honestly, I’d be closer to chalking Ed up as a bust than considering this deal. What stat, what games, what ANYTHING, made this the right move? Did we really just do this because he POTENTIALLY will have an excellent year and we MIGHT have had to pay more if so? insane.

I spent 2 grand on a drone during lockdown. I can successfully go straight up, I’m pretty amazing at going 90 degrees left and right, and I only broke one set of blades crashing into a tree as I didn’t realize “auto crash avoidance” didn’t work if you purposefully fly towards a tree. Anyone want a drone for like $500? 😂
