Telling people to stop speculating is a bit unrealistic. Everyone wants Kim to get healthy and live a very long life. But when a statement like this comes out about the co-owner of both of our professional sports teams, I think (especially on a message board dedicated to one of those two teams) it’s absolutely natural to speculate. No one is wishing her anything but the best but we also know something bad when we see it. And this doesn’t seem great for the reasons others have “speculated.”

The vagueness of the statement has me worried. Hope I’m wrong and she’s back to fighting shape soon.

I’m moving to California in a month. Of all the things I have on my to do list, “searching the CA DMV site for available bills plates “ just jumped to the top.

Agree 100%. I won’t spoil anything, but I can count at least three separate times thinking how f’in cool it was on the big screen and with the huge theater speakers. This is a must see in the theater movie.

I’m so trained for pessimism, that with those 13 ***** seconds left, my wife was cheering and I said “There’s still plenty of time.” She rolled her eyes at me. This is a top 3 Bills Roster of all time (I didn’t want to say best ever on paper since I’m not here for that argument) and I should be excited and optimistic. It’s just not in my DNA.

Others have said it, but we’re so stacked everywhere that my biggest concern is backup QB. But unless we get Mahomes to sit behind him, any time Josh is down will be disastrous. Hopefully that amount of time is exactly 0.

For me the benefit was it was the most affordable aisle seat left on stub hub. edit: I just looked and apparently they’re all individual padded seats with arm rests. Yay?

Now here’s a topic I could talk about for hours. My biggest (and definitely most expensive) hobby is watch collecting. I have bought and sold well over 50 watches over the last five years or so. I’ve always loved watches, even as a kid. My current collection: Rolex DeepSea (my daily watch) Cartier Santos Rolex Cellini (my dress watch, which with working from home full time doesn’t get much love.) Ming 17.09. This is a micro brand and probably my favorite watch. And of course a Casio G Shock.

My all time favorite is “this ***** guy.” It’s used every time any player or coach doesn’t do exactly what I, from my couch, think they should have done instead of what they actually did. Sometimes the nickname stands by itself. “This ***** guy!!” Sometimes with a bit more sarcastic flair: “Would you look at this ***** guy; must be a brain surgeon.” You can also add the word “sucks” if you want to verbalize what everyone knew you meant anyway: “This ***** guy sucks!!” The possibilities are vast: “why did we draft this ***** guy in the first place?,” “we picked this ***** guy over (fill in whoever you had on your ‘big board’)?”

Plus, with T9 texting, he’d still be typing that message out.
