  1. This is what our President is spending his time on today. And for  POTUS who isn’t racist (I honestly don’t think he is, I just think he’s a moron) he’s not helping the case with crap like this. I know many native Americans even want the name back to Redskins but for the love of “whatever,” he has to know the optics of this are just feeding the flames of “Trump/MAGA are racist morons” OR “yet another distraction from the Epstein files mess.” You on the right just have to wish he would STFU sometimes.

Back to back crazy old men in the White House isn’t a great look for us.

He also implied he would stop the building of the new stadium if they didn’t comply - unsure how he has the authority there.

  2. Do I think Drumpf wrote it? Maybe.
    Do I know? Nope.
Will we ever find out? We would likely get some definitive proof from discovery if the hyperbolic lawsuit actually moved forward.

Will the lawsuit actually give us what we feel entitled to know? Highly unlikely.
If the lawsuit proved he wrote it, will he still deny it and therefore his supporters do the same? Of course. That’s the next step in Trump/MAGA 101.
Is Trump a pedophile? No. Just like not all Dems are. It’s a tired trope at this point, similar to calling all republicans uneducated inbreds.
Will starting 8 new threads about this topic change anyone’s opinion on either side? ***** no.

What should happen is the entire file be released. Releasing grand jury testimony is a ridiculous move that Trump knows he’s free and clear in; from an embarrassment perspective (not from a “he’s a pedophile” perspective.

That’s the part that makes him look guilty of something (again even if it’s just embarrassing and not illegal). Just release the whole file - not cherry picked parts. And let the chips fall, on both sides.

I have not claimed it to be fake. I don’t put anything past Trump. I also know we have spent several years now with people trying to take him down by any means necessary.  The media has willingly sh*t their credibility away in attempts to foil the bad orange person. Any reporting they do immediately comes with a large dose of suspicion.

That the two of them were buddies 20+ years ago is well known. If he wrote a letter a couple decades ago in prose that seems incredibly un-Trumpy, then he wrote a letter. Now what? Impeach? Express disgust? Vote democrat (NO) in 2026?

The guy is going to be President for 3.5 more very tiring years. Democrats and media will be looking to take him down every day. A couple years from now the headlines will read “Why Vance is More Dangerous Than Trump”. Lefties here at PPP will be thinking about Trump when they get up to PP in the night and carry that through the day. Every day. I don’t know how they do it.

Now you. Let’s say he wrote the letter. What is the recourse you desire?

first, I got a good laugh at “Vote democrat (NO) in 2026?” 😂

As far as recourse? None. I believe he may have written it. I also don’t believe he’s a pedophile. So I will have the same thoughts on him I did the day before - that he’s a vile human who doesn’t care about others and is wholly unqualified to be POTUS. That doesn’t change for me.

Im just hoping the two parties  can finally stop all this nonsense that’s been going on for the last, what, decade and a half? More? And we can get two people we’re at least proud to watch debate on the ticket. Both sides are awful, the country is more divided than it’s been in my life, and I do think Donald’s “gasbag” personality has added to that (I’m not saying the left is innocent in it, I just feel like he was a pretty strong catalyst).

So my answer to if it’s proven to be him? Honestly, it’s not even top ten of the gross, inappropriate, or mainly unpresidential things he’s said or done in his life (I used to be a regular listener of Howard stern before he became too liberal for even me, and listening to old episodes it’s ***** SHOCKING that that dude got one vote, much less the majority; TWICE!) . Which is why I think it’s so sad that he somehow became the president.

  4. So since the folks on the right are so vehemently claiming this is completely fake, my honest question is: what if he DID write it?

If it’s not fake, and the WSJ decided to use an actual credible source or two, and not set themselves up for a 10 gazillion dollar lawsuit, I assume you’re claiming it’s fake because if it were real, it would be damning.

If something came out that objectively proved it was real and Trump wrote/drew it, would you go with the “so what?, we know Trump isn’t a great guy” Or the “that’s horrifying and I now rethink my feelings on him?” I’m assuming the former since you’ve admitted you think the man himself isn’t great. And in that case, why the such stanch denial/claim it’s fake?

Honest question. Interested in your take on that possibility.

yeah, he's not that bright.  And your point?

I was commenting on the fact that someone implied earlier that people have only been using em dashes since 2023. Then — when called out on that insanely ridiculous idea — they said, paraphrasing,  “well, chatGPT uses it frequently, so it’s a sign that the letter was written by AI.”

So I showed a tweet or “Truth” (oh, the irony) where Trump himself used the em dash. And while that post wasn’t his worst by a mile, the grammar is still far below what ChatGPT would use if one were attempting to write a coherent social media post: “I look very much forward….”

    That’s all.

So you are saying you believe the letter from "2003" is not really from then?

I’m saying that stating that an em dash means the letter isn’t real is hilarious.

The fact that it is somewhat well written is a much bigger potential tell that Drumpf didn’t write it.

I have no horse in this race. I do not think Trump is a pedophile. I think he’s an overall horrendous human being but I don’t think he is a pedophile. I think if there was anything in the “file” (the one on the desk; same one that doesn’t exist) he would have been buried long ago. I think he was friendly with a creep. That’s not a crime. But I do want to know who is in the file (the one on the desk; the one that doesn’t exist) and I think we all have a right to know. But I don’t think we ever will.

This ***** is just too crazy to make up. The whole thing. But no. I don’t think the use of an em dash proves - or disproves - anything.

I would be surprised if he does not use AI to clean it up sometimes. Why would that be a problem, especially if it is to make it cleaner?

Not a problem, don’t be so sensitive. I was just asking if we think Donnie has one window open for Twitter, and another window open for ChatGPT while posting on social media. Because my lord the GPT I use has far superior grammar to what he posts. I guess his version ONLY adds em dashes but doesn’t recommend maybe not using all caps like an angry child or calling people scum in the middle of a Memorial Day post. 😂

  8. Using Tulsi Gabbard as a source is amazing. Can someone grab her qualifications for me again real quick 😂

I’m certain that’s why nearly every article in the last month uses her title instead of her name since many folks assume the head of National Intelligence has any background in… well… Intelligence. Oh and doesn’t cozy up with some of the worlds most vile leaders. But alas, here we are.

    .

Just keeping track, the next step in the process is: “well, it’s real, and we knew that the whole time, but we don’t care/it doesn’t matter.” Do I have that right? 🙃

Joking aside, if someone pitched the current and previous administrations as a TV pilot, zero networks would pick it up due to simply being too far fetched. What a day to be alive!

Weird. Did I misspell “measles” as “covid?”

    Checks note… nope.

if he wanted to eliminate the covid vaccine that Trump rushed to market with operation warp speed, I’d be fine with that.

To imply vaccines, including the ***** measles vaccine, causes autism? He’s a danger to children.

  11. Cool. So we will get rid of Red Dye #3 and bring back Measles. That’s a fair trade. Thanks Bobby!

Edit: to be clear, I do agree with removing those insane dyes in everything - compare US Fruit Loops to UK, for example - but I loathe this man for his anti-vaccine rhetoric.

Again.  You voted for a guy with dementia, and likely cancer.   Dont talk to me about frail.

BDS is strong with this one.

And you said the list is in the hands of the government.

But the attorney general of the United States told us there was no list.

That doesn’t seem to make sense. But you’ll surely clarify.

  13. “In February, I did an interview on Fox, and it’s been getting a lot of attention because I said – I was asked a question about the client list - and my response was, ‘it’s sitting on my desk to be reviewed,’ meaning the file along with the JFK and MLK files … That’s what I meant by that.”

    Holy F.uck… what???

    Oh,  what a cabinet!

Oh, per the DOJ you say?

    Well in that case!….

Come on, man. Maybe pick a department that isn’t currently the laughing stock. And try real hard to not use any whataboutism. Comparing this to another awful cabinet under Biden doesn’t make it any better.

Total ***** show. She had a list. A list doesn’t exist. Those two things cannot exist in the same world. This has nothing to do with what he campaigned on. That’s done and over. He’s got 3.5 years of lame duck “do whatever the ***** he wants” time left. This is more than just an apology from Pammy. But I do appreciate that you tried to show some level of objectivity in your last sentence.

  14. There’s a time and a place. This was neither. Little kids died. If his point is that it was caused - or at least not mitigated - by the actions of the current administration that the families of the victims voted for (which is clearly his “point,”) an op ed piece in a few months would be somewhat more appropriate. But that would also require him to point to specific cuts that happened before the flood that added to the death toll, rather than a cheap shot in a cartoon.

But oh boy did he get some clicks.
