Bills sign 11 players to futures contracts
TurfToeJam replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Likely (unfortunately) more draft capital will go to dline -
I think sam Martin's injury factored in to McD decision. We all saw that garbage punt from sam martin. Makes me wonder if bills went into the game planning to only punt on extreme situations do to Martin's injury. And that's why they preplannd that play

Steelers @ Bills. Monday, January 15th at 4:30pm.
TurfToeJam replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hope I'm wrong but can't see this game happening today. Not sure how they get the snow out of the stands. I'm on elma/orchard park bordar and approaching 3' of snow. Roads surprisingly pretty clear though. -

Joe Brady vs Ken Dorsey- Has He Been Better?
TurfToeJam replied to thenorthremembers's topic in The Stadium Wall
Now that the tape is out there on Brady for defenses to see we will know just how good Brady really is.(or isn't) -
I remember going to Randazzos (or Randazzols) (black rock area I think) when I was a child with my cousins. Wings were super cheap (nickel each). And I'm only 44 years old. There was this back room behind the bar where food was served. But thing I remember most was the wings still had "feather stalks" on them and I wasn't so sure they were ok to each. Never got sick as far as I recall.

McDermott weird comments about Josh Allen
TurfToeJam replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's true. But mahomes and burrow haven't had stretches of poor play like Allen has. (Not counting burrow to while he was injured) However Josh wasn't like that all previous seasons. How many times would we see Barkley sitting next to Allen going over plays? Look, I'm a big Allen fan. But something is very off this season. Maybe it is do to unhappiness with coaching. Or something else. I definitely think Dorsey did not coach to Allen's strengths. Not sure McD's coaching style/philosophy fit Allen either. The passion for football from Allen is currently missing -
McDermott weird comments about Josh Allen
TurfToeJam replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
True I am unable to go to games and only see what TV gives me. But I've seen him interact all previous seasons (on TV too.) But not this season. It's obvious there is something going on here. -
McDermott weird comments about Josh Allen
TurfToeJam replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've mentioned this in other threads... It's very odd players never approach/sit by/talk to Allen on the sidelines. And Allen doesn't approach other players. Something is not right there, especially considering Allen has always come off as "down to earth". The diggs off-season mini drama has to be related. -
Gabe Davis & Cook decline to interview after the game
TurfToeJam replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall
It was very obvious how much harder cook played after the fumble/benching. I'm not saying I agreed with the prolonged benching of him. But why doesn't he run with that much enthusiasm always though? -
Bills really need to hire whole new offensive team of coaches from outside. Not promote from within. Likely will be Brady till season ends though.
-
There must be something going on behind the scene. I never see Josh talking to players on the sidelines, and I never see players come up to Josh to talk to him. Really odd considering he seems like a real down to earth likeable guy. Maybe something related to the mini drama with diggs earlier this year? Maybe it's just me, but it looked like he was just throwing the ball as hard as he can at times at the receivers. Almost out of anger or frustration.

Franchise in trouble- Josh Allen has regressed
TurfToeJam replied to RoscoeParrish's topic in The Stadium Wall
I find it very odd that no players ever talk to him not sit by him on the sidelines. Kinda like he seems depressed. I don't even remember seeing Kyle Allen by him. And on the flip side.... I don't see receivers and others players come up to him. Really as he always seemed to be a real "down to earth" kinda guy. Most enthusiasm I saw from him was him running into the locker room at end of first half. -
Allen looks like he doesn't even want to be there. No touch passes. No excitement. He just looks for a guy open and fires the ball as hard as he can. There has to be a reason no players even talk to him on the sideline
-
Worth trying at this point
-
The most energy I saw by Allen was him running into the locker room at halftime.

Why weren’t the Bills allowed to play on the grass?
TurfToeJam replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Who suggests /controls what cleats players wear? Bills can't control other stadiums turf but they can control what footwear they are wearing. They should be using analytics for these decisions. I'd rather have players have less traction if it would prevent injuries. -
Roger Goodell said today's game was an experiment??
TurfToeJam replied to Bubba Gump's topic in The Stadium Wall
The London home/away seemed backwards to me. The jags first game in london should have be their "away" game. The 2nd jags game in london should be considered their "home" game since they stay there the week and are more acclimated to the stadium. Jags actually had home field advantage (minus the bills mafia ) since they didn't have to travel this week and were able to get acclimated to the time change/used to stadium/etc.... -
Bills current coaches are coaching Allen as if he is a traditional pocket passer. Which he is not. Dabol utilized Allen's strengths which includes Allen's legs to force defenses to spy and respect the threat of designed Allen run plays.
-
He can double date with poyer and Rachel
-
I didn't see any resemblance of an offensive game plan. Dabol would at least have seen Allen struggle and dial up some jet sweeps or presnap motions or fancy screen plays to help josh. Dorsey is in over his head here.
-
Leslie Frazier saw this regression of talent coming and was like, I'm outta here.
-
We will never win anything with McD here
TurfToeJam replied to HomeskillitMoorman's topic in The Stadium Wall
There is no way McD gets rid of Dorsey. McD is a very loyal person. Only chance is if pegulas fire McD which I doubt.
