  1. If Hines takes away snaps from anybody, I could see it coming from 'Lil Dirty. He has better hands and seems to be a good slot option.
  2. Jamison Crowder was averaging 11.1 yards per return (9th overall) before he was hurt. I'll take Heins 10.1 average as a good base, and think with a better ST group around him that can go up.
  3. I have no problem with 5-7 touches a game if they're converting third downs and moving the sticks, which is how he's going to be used as a third down back.
  4. Knew that was coming. Plug and play with the system. He's a good ST-er, so fine with the pick-up.
  5. I'm not basing it on stats. I'm going by video and the eyeball test.
  6. Can't go by that. He plays within 5-10 yards of the LOS. He's an outlet, not a deep threat.
  7. He's much better than Singletary as a receiver (the jury's still out on Cook, who hasn't had enough touches to evaluate). Hines can also play the slot in a pinch. As a runner, he looks about the same as Motor, with less yards after contact ability (he's a water bug). Would have liked to add a bigger back for short yardage situations, but I guess that's Josh's role.
  8. Which is fine and fits the defense we play (2 LBs, nickel coverage, stop the big play). He does that job well. And it works for the Bills. It's just frustrating to watch him defend the run, so often taking the wrong angle, not being able to shed blocks, missing tackles, etc. Milano (a former college safety) plays much more like a traditional LB than Edmunds, IMO (stronger tackler, better at diagnosing running plays, more active in coverage/INTs).
  9. He's a safety playing LB.
  10. He asked for a trade last year, so his play may have reflected that to a degree.
  11. Man, I loved Smith coming out his draft year. He'll be a good fit with the Ravens.
  12. IDK. Josh being 5 of 14 for ~90 yards and two picks in the second half may have something to do with that negativity as well.
  13. Pop? That doesn't sound good at all.
  14. Bad second half. On to the Jets...
  15. Why necessarily an upgrade? I'd be happy with a nice "Thunder and Lightning" complimentary back that could split carries, is a good receiver, carries a low cap hit and could probably be had for a late round pick. He's got a nice burst and is what we hoped Moss would be at this point. https://www.49ers.com/video/jeff-wilson-jr-s-best-plays-from-his-132-yard-game-in-week-5-panthers-nfl
  16. Here's one I'd really like to kick the tires on. I think he'd be a great compliment to Motor. Roughly a $600,000 cap hit for the rest of this year, then FA that we could probably resign cheap if he works out.
  17. Quite the "insider" resume.
  18. She was the brains of the family.
  19. It's not just Brady's arm that's shot. His decision making is terrible, throwing into coverage, not recognizing things. His mental decline is what's most apparent to me.
