McDermott - Excuses, Valid but concerning
L Ron Burgundy replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I respect this take and valid point about getting to the playoffs with Tyrod and on Elway. Now, you should examine Sean's defensive playoff performances. Historically poor. Great, he does well in the regular season. His defenses have been torched come playoff time. You can give a pass this year, what about other years? More and more he feels like Shottenheimer. We will forever regret not winning a super bowl with Josh. I hope we don't miss out because we held on to a coach who did a great job building us up but didn't have the acumen to close against great coaches when games count most. -
I've watched some of his greatest hits. He is batshit. I don't understand how he isn't arrested. He's just about openly advocating for civil war.

How do you explain Diggs invisibility act
L Ron Burgundy replied to Coldfronts's topic in The Stadium Wall
Total opinion here not based in fact. Something has him down on the team. After the loss to Cinci he has not seemed the same attitude wise. Like he's unhappy. Is it personnel? Coaching or player? Relationship related? He and Josh seemed to be best buds and he's changed to just business. Jmo and more questions than answers. -
Mr. Pegula please read Tyler Dunne’s newest article

Everyone torching the author but not the substance of the article. People should be pis$ed about this defense. Our coach specializes in something he's terrible at in the playoffs. My biggest worry is that we regret not making a move later. Like we keep him crap next season away and we're stuck with him because there are no great coach options. I just don't see a benefit to him staying anymore. I know this is the popular Homer opinion. I can't see how it's wrong. I want to have faith next year will be great. I think it's gonna just be Josh carrying the team again. -

Beane & McDermott end of season press conferences
L Ron Burgundy replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cool. He wasn't going to help that dline that got virtually no pressure. I'm so jaded at this loss it's unreal. I doubt any defense has sucked this badly over 3 playoff games. I'm betting it's historically bad. -

All our cbs may be bums. Not horrible but only capable of playing within McDermotts system. A system which gets exposed routinely every year playoff time. -
Listen you constantly rail on Joe. Fine. But the guy trying to become president gets nothing? It's because you are as biased as anyone on this board. You also clearly ignore negatives on Trump. Joe is crap. Trump is somehow even worse. As for Trump being good or bad for Ukraine? Who knows but I doubt he'd be good. The thought of Putin being intimidated is laughable. Them both taking a competency test would be great. I don't mean like, what's this a picture of crap. I mean like geography, history, etc. I would put every penny on Biden winning that and I totally agree he is in steep decline.

Unfortunately this is probably needed. We need a small rebuild. Our defense is bad. Idc about regular season stats one bit. They suck when it matters.

Random talking head says something about the Bills
L Ron Burgundy replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
There's definitely some good points but I hate the constant comparison without context. Our team (around Josh) and coaching need serious improvement. Next year will be a bust, we need a mini rebuild. -

I call BS. Mahommes has had every advantage over Allen. Coaching, offensive players, and in the past offensive line. Unfair comparison. That this needs to be pointed out is absurd. Mahommes was throwing to people wide open all game. Allen had to dodge pressure until someone got open. -
You pay no attention to Trump do you? He is just as senile as Joe. He spoke about taking over airports during the revolutionary War, think about that. He's mixed up people dozens of times lately and said he ran against Obama in 2016. And no, it wasn't a clever quip. He's lost mentally. But you'll ignore it. Its the diaper. It's gotta be. There's literally no other reason to be afraid. Maybe a Syphilis thing?
-
Thank you! Why should he get a pass when his defense sucks every single playoff exit? This is his thing! F no, at this point he is the main problem. Nothing will change if we don't make a move.
-
Yes he would have intimidated them, diaper full and all. Everyone fears a draft dodger I tell ya. Fierce warriors they are. And the McDonalds diet, everyone knows to fear a man jacked up on McDonalds. And his intellect? Sheesh. I mean, who wouldn't be intimidated by the man who talked about taking over airports during the revolutionary war? You should be embarrassed. Your guy isn't JUST senile he is senile and ######ed. The timing was because of Zelensky who was elected in 2019. Putin saw a potential weakness with a comedian as president. He thought wrong shockingly.

Divisional Playoffs - Chiefs at Bills - Post game thread
L Ron Burgundy replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Acceptable answer. Josh isnt above criticism. Anyone saying this game is his fault though is being absurd but criticizing him for a couple plays is fair. My response would be pointing out that we have a defensive coach whose defense has consistently let us down in the playoffs. This isn't the first time our d has been carved like swiss cheese. So why keep him if he isn't good at the thing he's supposed to specialize in? -
Allen was legendary (even better than 13 seconds Allen)
L Ron Burgundy replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
So you'd put this game more on him than the Defense that our Defensive coach manages? -
I don't get how you can say McD did a great job. I can't see it in any way. His main responsibility tonight was the defense and they were horrendous. He is just not smart enough to beat the great coaches in this league. Every year we stick with him out of a misplaced sense of loyalty is one more year Josh doesn't win a super bowl. We'll look back on these years with awe that we had one of the great QB's and couldnt do squat with him.
-
And that is 100% what lost us the game tonight. It was pitiful in every respect.
-
Yeah the coach that won the most superbowls would do worse than Sean McDermott. Great take. I don't think any moves are being made but getting the legend here would likely result in a super bowl or 2. Not sure if you noticed, we already have a good QB so we really wouldnt need him for that part right? Let him build the defense out and we'd be good to go. Oh don't let him have a part in drafting receivers either.
