I've said numerous times Ukraine is corrupt. Very much so. But Ukrainians also know with people fighting and dying if they get caught siphoning money or arms to sell later, they are dead or worse. The usual corruption isn't going to apply here, though of course that doesn't mean you give them the chance to find out. You don't think our people know Ukraine has corruption problems by the way? Keep in mind, the vast majority of what we're giving them is ammo/weapons, not straight money. I think we all know Ukraine is a very corrupt country. This is an unfortunate fact. But people are dying, a lot of people. And Zelensky has shown he is not afraid to fire people not doing their job, or even for not being very good at doing your job. If someone were found to be stealing right now I'm pretty confident they'd be in big trouble. As in soon to be not breathing or in a jail so bad you'll wish you weren't. He knows exactly how bad it would be to find out his people were stealing. I've harped on this but the reason Ukraine is corrupt is because of Russia. I've seen this firsthand in nearly every eastern european country. Statistics back up this theory. As these places distance themselves from communism, and Russian influence, crime and corruption decrease. Russia is a f'd up country at so many levels. They need to be stopped.
