  1. Totally agree. I think their fans had their hearts set on getting the 1st pick and trading back for a ton of assets. They didn't fall back that far. They should stop whining. I think he was fired because he gave a few sketchy interviews and made himself look weak/indecisive. F them. I hope they turn into a Jets-like circus.
  2. Really hoping Brady stays. He's been phenomenal. If he goes we need a very high quality replacement. McDaniel fits but you'd have to make sure he is the type that can alter his system to fit personnel not the other way around. Yes, he's a nerd. Don't care.
  3. This is what happens when you get your mind set on picking 1st. It's not like they dropped down 10 spots. God I hate Pats fans, everything about them sucks. That qb of theirs looked great. Can probably sucker a team to give assets for him now. Yeah won't make up the difference but did they expect their team to lie down?
  4. That's actually insane, wow.
  5. And somehow looking great in the red zone. The Jets version of Darnold playing tonight.
  6. Woof that'd be nice but Steelers look like trash lately.
  7. Huh? You think that roster could have done much better with anyone else? They may be league worst.
  8. Pats fans seriously sound like tools. They expected the players to full on tank? A lot of blame towards Mayo as if the team was good. It sucked.
  9. Great job managing that game. Played it like pre season.
  10. Maybe but I suspect a few big drops may be influencing your assessment.
  11. This. We shouldn't break the bank but we shouldn't have to. We can afford a decent contract for a quality weapon. He's improved so much, he could keep improving.
  12. He seems like an introvert and it makes me think. His choice will likely be to make big money for a few years to feature in another backfield or stay here for less money but in a comfortable situation that likely allows him a longer career. Being a reserved guy, assuming that's true, maybe the 2nd option is more appealing? I hope thats the case but probably not. Would love to keep him long term. I thought he was a bad pick. Now I think he's a beast. Happy to be proven wrong here.
  13. I feel like I'd take White over Trubisky. Watched Mitch with Pitt and it was truly terrible. White had some moments with the Jets. Not all good mind you.
  14. 27 - 16 Pats And happy for the L if it happens. Rather not give the Pats the fist pick.
  15. I voted Broncos but I'm reconsidering. If it were a normal weather game i would not wanna play Miami. But a winter game? Yeah they might be the easiest match up. We'd likely break Tua again.
  16. I would hope so. It's weird the games we come out flat.
  17. That last playoff game has us all paranoid. And nothing will change it short of Burrow not playing.
  18. Absolutely correct. And Rex may be the exact opposite of Ron. It's crazy how important coaching is in the nfl. Jets had a good roster. If they had a good coach/culture they would have been MUCH better imo.
  19. Would Rex be the funniest option? Who might compete with Rex on the hilarity scale?
  20. Very cool theory and comparison worth thought. He's been tremendous for us imo. But the real test will be in the playoffs when we get into a game we have to score a ton against good defenses.
  21. I'm almost at the point of thinking our def should just go for all out aggression looking for turnovers/sacks. We're not going to stop teams otherwise. We give up a big play? So what, higher chance for a turnover is worth it. Lots of blitzes trying to force errors all day.
  22. How'd they do in the playoffs? That's all that matters.
  23. I feel bad for them but love it at the same time.
  24. Cooper disappears too much to be anyone's number 1 wr. I think everyone agrees with that right?
