I still don't get the Watson hype even if you take away the all these allegations and his unprofessional attitude. But good for Seattle if they want to piss away all the assets they just received in the Wilson deal on him and hope Watson enjoys rebuilding and playing in one of the toughest divisions in the NFL.

Have no problems with Shaq coming back if it's nothing more than a vet minimum type of deal with no guarantees he even makes final roster. Still a bit curious as to why he bounced around with 3 different teams in 2 years since leaving the Bills....
-
Is Landry even a fit in this scheme? Seems like more of a 3-4 type of player which don't jive with the cover 2 bend but don't break stuff.
-
They are pretty solid across the board and have some truly elite talent at key positions including QB now. I would also look for them to be big players in FA and go all in since they have very little draft assets left to play with. Either way there's a lot that's going to happen the rest of the offseason leading up to september but on paper this denver squad looks like a WC caliber team at worse even before any other moves are made.

Is Beane sleeping? Where is the baby?
FilthyBeast replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall
Looking at Beane's history he has not been one to roll the dice and make a big time trade other than Diggs and moving up in the draft for Allen. But if anything this is the year to not only roll the dice but give up more than he probably would prefer to get said pass rusher either in FA or through trade. Some real 4D chess is going to be at play in the AFC now that the first domino has fell with the Broncos blockbuster deal the Chiefs, Chargers, Bengals, Pats, Dolphins, Titans, etc will all be considering big time moves in the coming days to counter one another. -
Mike Williams. The NFLs newest 20M aav man.
FilthyBeast replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall
Won't be surprised to see Diggs new deal be north of $25M+ per year. Also Beasely probably was asked to take a pay cut and declined which means his release is imminent but probably can still get at least $7M on a one year deal elsewhere. -
Klein's signature game with the Bills ironically came against the Seahawks and Russell Wilson in 2020 when he had multiple sacks and turnovers in that one.
-
Would have preferred to see Klein stay with a big pay cut but maybe he wasn't interested in doing that. This probably also means that everyone's favorite whipping boy is now 100% locked in to returning.
-
Von Miller also pretty said he plans on resigning there so essentially the picks the Rams gave the Broncos for a half season + playoff rental were used in the deal to get Wilson.
-
I didn't realize they gave up Fant...that's actually a big weapon that I figured they wanted a QB like Wilson or Rogers to take advantage off. Very interesting that he was included in the deal.
-
Injury aside last year, his numbers were still up there in terms of being among the top 10 QB's in the league. And even if he has an 'average' type of year the Broncos have a roster capable of going places and everyone knows it was the QB position that was the difference last year between being a 12+ win team and what they actually finished (7-10). Broncos will definitely be the sexy SB pick next year in the AFC.
-
While it'd be another huge weapon I don't see it happening, if this team gives up any draft picks of value still think it would be on the pass rusher front. And the more you think about it wouldn't make much sense for Beane to give up another 1st rounder pick on WR since he did that a few years ago.
-
It does, but on the flipside the AFC becomes much more crowded also hurting the Bills chances of getting over the hump and into the SB. You are going to see some very good teams in the AFC field not even make the 7 team playoff tourney next year....
-
AFC West schedules are going to be brutal this year. In additon to playing eachother x2, they all play the NFC West and AFC South. That's at least 5 tough games against the Titans/Colts/Rams/Cards/49ers on each schedule. Chances are probably slim the Chiefs win both the AFCW and emerge as a top 3 seed in the conference.
-
Agree, and I wonder if Pete Carroll decides to jump ship opening up another vacancy all of a sudden. Either way their run and window was over and a full blown rebuild will be underway in Seattle now.

Rumor- Harrison Phillips not coming back
FilthyBeast replied to wiseman3's topic in The Stadium Wall
This...and it's a little concerning that even some of the minor expected moves like dumping Feliciano hasn't happened yet -
Well that's what you call 'moving on to plan B' with the quickness.....Elway wasn't F'ing around apparently and the Chiefs path to another AFC West title becomes much more difficult all of a sudden.

Does Jack Easterby (Texans) remind you of anyone?
FilthyBeast replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Texans are truly a dumpster fire of an organization and it's hard to believe they were a borderline championship contender type of team when the Bills played them just a few years ago. -
A true 10+ sack per season pass rusher so that would be Mack or Jones, or someone not yet on the market or acquired via trade.
-
Serious question, history and past antics aside....if Brown wanted to sign here for a low risk minimum/no guaranteed money deal this offseason would you do it?
-
I think with both Gronk and Knox on the field it would add a unique dynamic and create matchup nightmares against opposing defenses especially with Davis and Diggs already in the picture. Throw in Beasely (or whoever might replace him) and you are talking about an offense that will be right up there with KC jockeying for the #1 scoring unit all year.

Rumor- Harrison Phillips not coming back
FilthyBeast replied to wiseman3's topic in The Stadium Wall
You get the sense that even if the Bills want to keep guys like Harrison, Wallace, etc they know that there will be some ridiculous deals thrown around in FA especially with the salary cap figure going upwards again.
