  1. Everybody said this in 2020 when they were 14-2 and barely beating teams down the stretch. Then they lose Mahomes in the divisional and also barely hang on against the Browns and all the experts picked the Bills in the AFCCG. We all know how that story ended in a game where the Bills were annihilated despite going up 10-0 early the game was essentially over by halftime. Deep down I know a lot of Bills fans know that Mahomes will always haunt this franchise and will never admit it because of Allen still being a great QB himself. But at the end of the day still think the Chiefs look like a team just going through the motions until the playoffs when they will turn it on and cruise to another SB victory sadly and why it won't matter even if the Bills can get the #1 seed because they simply don't have that ability and Allen isn't Mahomes.
  2. Really not sure how to feel about this. On one hand, it wreaks of shear desperation and validates everything critics like myself have been saying about this team and Beane's mishandling of this roster in the offseason. But on the other, if Bease has anything left in the tank it could be a season saving move in terms of getting this offense back on track to be able to win in the playoffs. Guess we'll find out pretty quick either way.
  3. Tell that to the Eagles who quite frankly look like the hype machine that a lot of media and fans made the Bills out to be heading into this season I thought they were a fluke and going to implode after their loss against the commanders and follow a similar path like the Cardinals last year. But they have bounced back strong and back to dominating teams from start to finish putting up silly offensive numbers. Will be interesting to see if this holds up in the playoffs, but if it does not sure anybody is stopping them or even hanging with them for 60 minutes including Bills/Chiefs/Bengals/etc in a SB matchup.
  4. Hill's a gamer and has always had this teams number. Would be great if he misses it but not banking on that given the magnitude of this game and the Dolphins being a wounded animal (porpoise) needing to bounce back here in a big way.
  5. At this point 100% fools gold considering he's not even played 2 full NFL games. This is the NFL and it takes a little time to get tape out on the latest flash in the pan. Credit Kyle Shanahan for being a great offensive mind and putting this kid in position to succeed around a great roster but he'll get exposed at some point especially in the playoffs, if not much sooner.
  6. The best QB part certainly debatable but most pundits had him as the leading candidate for MVP before the 49ers game. Again, you don't put up the type of numbers he has this year by accident. He's going to bounce back probably this week at our expense unfortunately.
  7. I think those are the 7 teams but don't agree with seeding: 1) KC (14-3) - yes they play down to their level of competition at times but they are going through the motions as a team that knows they are likely on their way to another chamionship or SB appearance at minimum. 2) CIN (13-4) - they are still quietly the hottest team in the league right now despite their own injury issues. 3) MIA (12-5) - still believe they are a SB contender and are going to win out starting this week against us unfortunately 4) TN (9-8) - in a tailspin but can't see anybody catching them because Jags are in a too big a hole 5) BUF (12-5) WC #1 will lose to MIA and CIN but get the Titans in round 1 to hopefully advance to divisional 6) BAL (12-5) Loved this team to win the division but won't hold up especially without Jackson. 7) LAC (11-6) They will probably win out and be the hot team nobody wants to face in the playoffs.
  8. You can make that argument about the 49ers but the Chargers defense has not been very good this year and were missing a lot of key guys including Derwin James last night. Every team and star QB goes through a rough patch as we know all too well with this team, but you don't go from best QB/league MVP to complete trash. Something must be up with Tua because he looked pretty dazed last night on the bench and hopefully for our sake we get that version on Saturday or it could be a big problem.
  9. Agree, a much better option than a washed up John Brown that's for sure.
  10. I'll admit that I did not see the Dolphins losing to the Chargers, especially after the way the 49ers game went. But I still think the Dolphins are a grimy type of team and still believe in Tua. True stars rise to the occasion and why I'm a nervous wreck already about this game. Dolphins will be looking to bounce back and send a message and Bills will need to regain their early season form and be ready for the challenge on Sat night with so much at stake.
  11. I'm still shocked he wasn't flagged, if that was on Mahomes he would have probably been ejected and flagged.
  12. I can agree with that, but still think people made a bigger deal out of it than necessary. It's a moot point though now because it appears Beasely is finished/didn't want to play football anymore but we really to address his departure better and appear to have whiffed big time on the slot WR by committee approach with the players we chose to replace him. This will be a much bigger issue in the playoffs than it is now unfortunately.
  13. It's not so much the short timing routes, as it is the way they play overall and run the football especially compared to the Bills whose offense that was once a strength is now a major liability. Biggest concern like I said is Dolphins losing 2 straight and really looking out of sync overall, especially Tua. Just hard to imagine them losing 3 in a row which is scenario I wanted to avoid at all costs heading into this pivotal showdown.
  14. Dolphins are a wounded animal in a tough spot, going to find out a lot about them this week and with the way the Bills have been playing in recent weeks this is a very precarious position to be in especially if the weather ends up being an issue it will likely favor the Dolphins and their style of offense.
  15. This regime has shown over the years that they believe in sticking with certain players no matter what because they are either afraid of causing locker room issues/disruptions, or really believe in the 'you have to earn playing time' garbage. But in reality not giving your high draft picks more playing time shows both coaching ineptitude and poor drafting especially when you look at a team like KC whose rookie draft classes make major contributions every year, including their 2022 haul which is may be Veach's best yet.
  16. This guy must have some serious dirt on McD/Beane or someone else in the Bills organization because that's the only logical reason he's on this team, let alone an NFL roster. Now it all makes sense thinking about the 'lil dirty' name when you think about it.....
  17. Shhhhh. This type of posting will upset the Beane and McDermott worshiper's and contradict their narratives. But yes we have 'Little Dirty' on this roster who does nothing on game days but makes some dope videos on the Bills social media page.
  18. Who cares we kept Taiwan Jones and a bunch of other ST players on this roster though which is all that matters on a dominant ST unit, oh wait....
  19. He's not wrong and this is basically the same thing that Greg Cossell said last week when I posted a similar thread. Beane whiffed big time on Saffold and Bates, and Brown is going through the dreaded Buffalo sophmore slump. Add the fact that both Dawkins and Morse are really only solid/above average guys on their good days and you have a big problem and oline in need of complete overhaul in the offseason, with next to no resources to do this outside of the draft. Also to everyone that hated Beasely because of his political opinions time to admit you were wrong, and you can argue that he was as important to this team and offense as Diggs is especially with teams essentially taking him out of games now.
  20. Unless the Pegula's intervene I would doubt it because it's not McD/Beane's style and they'll just believe he'll be better next year by default. I was never a huge Daboll fan, but it's clear that Dorsey is trying too hard to be his own guy so to speak and fit the proverbial square peg in a round hole with a roster that just isn't good enough on the offensive side.
  21. I certainly understand where these feelings of unease and doubt come from despite currently sitting with the #1 seed in the AFC and tied for best record in conference. But like I've said before, watching this team ever since the KC game you just get the feeling that something is missing despite grinding out 4 straight wins after 2 tough losses. Yes this team is playing a more gritty style of football this year and winning close games, but it doesn't hide the fact this offensive line is among the worst in the league and with teams keying in on Diggs it's become increasingly clear we have no other real options that are going to scare defenses especially come January and time is running out with each passing game heading into the playoffs. At the end of the day this just feels like a one and done type of team, almost similar to the Titans last year in that everyone knew they weren't a true contender or team to be feared despite finishing with the #1 seed.
  22. To be honest Miller is probably best served to keep quiet at this point. He also said he'd be back this week after the lions game, the Bengals game after 4 week IR, etc. Let's also not forget this OBJ circus and promises he's coming here.
  23. It's going to take a true platoon/committee type of approach at DE to replace Miller and have any chance of winning playoff games next month. I was encouraged by what I saw out of Groot in his first game back but there's much work to be done between him/Lawson/Basham/Epenesa to truly believe this defense won't be a major liability against the elite QB's and offenses we are going to see in Miami/KC/CIN/etc.
  24. Good to know we spent a 1st round pick on a DB that can only play in certain situations/schemes/gameplans/etc. And people wonder why I question this GM and coaching staff so much....
  25. Is the probowl really still a thing? Not sure why anybody would care but can't argue against it because TUA has been best best QB in the AFC when he's played other than the 49ers game which at least for now is an aberration.
