Good to hear from you, Ice bowl. I'm sure you could do without the drama you've had this offseason up in cheese country. It seems as if Rodgers has burned his bridges behind him and there is no way he'd be willing to play for Green Bay this season. I know he's toward the end of his illustrious career, but he's still a top 3 QB in the league. Green Bay is in the Super Bowl conversation with him, but probably not if they have to depend on Jordan Love.

Agreed. Some say that 18 games is going to happen sooner or later. The NFL needs larger rosters to cope with the physical rigors of a longer season.

Barkley is also a good guy. Trubisky has a higher ceiling though. He has youth, athleticism, and much stronger arm in his favor. That's why Buffalo was happy to move on from Barkley.

Adams, by quite a bit. Adams has bounced around the league since coming out of West Georgia in 2015, I think.

Not oonly that, but the Bills have gotten rid of their rubber mats so as not to present an undue risk to injury prone players.

I suspect the Bills are not the least bit interested in a straight up trade of Josh Allen for Dak Prescott.

Tre White is his 6th rated QB. Among 64 starting CBs (before you start adding nickel backs, I don't think I'd call #6 (no respect). He's not flashy. Maybe that's why he's not higher, but there are some good players ahead of him.

"Voluntary" means you don't get fined if you don't do it. Obviously, it is More voluntary for some than for others as some players are a lock to have a roster spot whether they show up or not - Stefon Diggs for example. Other players face a huge battle just to make the team failing to participate in OTAs may not be a disqualifier for making the team in itself, but in a competition where the final decisions are based on very small differences between players, those players had better regard OTAs as mandatory.

He has to be top 25, but in that group, I don't know if they'll put him in the top 5 or stick him at 25, or somewhere in between. Hopefully, he'll be ranked higher than Ramsey. I don't know that they face each other this season, but can you imagine the trash talk in that game?

Horrible Harry's recovery from knee surgery was indeed slow. I saw some observations that he was playing better toward the end of last season. Hopefully, he can pick up where he left off and build on it. Supposedly, he has upside that he hasn't yet shown.

He is doing what he can to improve. I have to give him that. I hope to see positive results.

I don't generally spend a lot of time speculating on maybes and what ifs, but I can't argue against the notion that this makes a lot of sense.

I think that having a solid backup QB is pretty important to Beane, and even if he could get Lattimore on the roster next season, he knows the cost of keeping him would be prohibitive. He might be willing to pay a good #2 CB, I don't think he wants to try and manage the salaries of 2 #1 CBs. And I don't think he's that interested in a one year solution as a #2 CB.

Phillips is the closest thing Buffalo has to a rotational player who can spell Lotulelei at 1 tech. Butler can take reps there, but he's a natural 3 tech. Other guys can take reps there, but all of them are undersized, including Hestor. It is obvious that good 1 tech defensive tackles are much tougher to find than 3 techs.

Tyrod has outstanding locker room presence, but a severely limited skill set on the field. If you've got nobody better, he will get you through a game, and he might even win a few, but he is never going to lift your team above mediocrity. He's just not good enough. Houston is going to find out this season.

The Bills are counting on low level additions (Rachad Wildgoose, Nick McCloud and Olaijah Griffin) and development of one young player (Dane Jackson) to add competition to the cornerback position. I think most of us as fans were hoping for a bit more commitment from the Bills to upgrading the spot across from Tre White. They could also get some help from more pressure from the D-line, but a QB like Tom Brady (whom the Bills will play) that gets rid of the ball in only a couple seconds or a Pat Mahomes (whom the Bills will play ) who makes unscripted plays all over the lot while moving around will likely still give the Bills' secondary fits. I do like Dane Jackson, and I think he may have more upside than Levi Wallace, a good technician who's always going to be athletically limited.

Isn't Gregg Williams still available as a coaching hire? He might be a good match for the insanity of Campbell.

The man has wheels. He was lightly used in college. I'm assuming he was as raw as a steak from a cow to be butchered next week, but maybe in the three years since he's learned something that can be useful. It will be interesting to see the competition if he gets signed.

I called him Matt Jones once in a post. I actually have a son by that name, and a grandson named Max. Fortunately nobody in the family is named Mac. I wouldn't want to have to deal with the natural associations with New England. LOL

Not re-upped after t he season. Don't know if he's a free agent or signed with somebody else, but apparently the Bills did not like what they saw of him while he was with the team.
