  1. He had an MRI and confirmed it's a torn Achilles. I feel really bad for him. He's fought back from injuries before, but this one might end his career. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10036067-report-former-bears-rb-tarik-cohen-suffers-torn-achilles-injury-on-ig-live-video
  2. The Jets are a team that has drafted very well the last couple years and could leapfrog the Dolphins and Patriots. Elijah Moore, Garrett Wilson, and Breece Hall could make their offense dangerous as long as Zach Wilson continues his development.
  3. I think the combo of Jaelen Phillips and Melvin Ingram will be very solid this year. They might even be able to get close enough to Josh Allen to get stiff-armed to the turf.
  4. Sorry Taylor, but if you're not pleased with your pff score, it's probably because you gave up 5 sacks week one vs Chandler Jones.
  5. I'm also suprised that we're favored by 7 against the Titans considering they've beaten us the last two times.
  6. I'm glad this deal never happened. We would give up a draft pick for a rb with a $9 Million cap hit who can't stay on the field.
  7. If our biggest weakness is the holder, I think we'll do alright this season.
  8. Schobel always seemed like a quiet, reserved guy so I'm not surprised that he doesn't have much of a media presence. He has extremely productive, but the team was pretty lousy during his tenure. In my opinion, if we have to debate whether a player is worthy of the Wall of Fame, then they're not. Hughes was a productive player, but the Bills WOF should be reserved for legendary players who won championships. Also, we need to take OJ Simpson's name off the wall.
  9. Basham had just one sack fewer than Rousseau despite playing less than half the number of snaps as Greg (531-201) I think there's a realistic chance that Boogie could end up being the better player in the long run.
  10. PSL's are the time shares of the sports world. They are just there to make you feel like you have ownership of something. If we accept it without backlash, owners will just find a new way to overcharge us in ten years.
  11. Algeria has a lot of Bills fans because of all those Bills Superbowl Champion t-shirts we sent them 30 years ago.
  12. If Elam develops into a star across from Tre, opposing qb's won't have any place to throw. If Rousseau develops into a star across from Von, opposing qb's won't have any time to throw. If both happen, then opposing teams won't have any qb's left to throw
  13. Wide receiver drafted in the 5th round 6'0" 190 lbs "Doesn't possess the strength or long speed to make a living as an outside receiver, but he can be an extremely effective weapon from the slot as a pro, turning short third-down throws into first downs. He can make things happen when he has the ball in his hands and could become a consistent, productive weapon for the right offensive coordinator." This is Stefon Diggs' draft profile. It's eerily similar to Khalil Shakir's. Very similar size, speed, production, and character.
  14. Epenesa has shown very little except for that one preseason rep where he absolutely destroyed the OT on his way to hit the qb. I thought Basham showed some promise last year. He did manage 3 sacks in the regular season despite very little playing time (only one less that Rousseau) plus one more in the postseason. He isn't explosive, but he can be a solid part of the rotation.
  15. Running back is the one position we where we definitely don't need any additions. We're in a situation where a talented rb (either Moss or Johnson) will likely be cut.
  16. Greg Rousseau The lack of a pass-rush has been a major weakness for our defense the past few seasons. Having Rousseau become a serious threat playing across from Von would make our defense deadly.
  17. No wonder we couldn't cover him with 3 defenders...
  18. Honestly, I would have tried to trade Poyer during the draft (maybe Beane did) instead of giving him a big extension. I'm just not sure whether Jaquan Johnson or Damar Hamlin are ready to fill Poyer's role. We can't extend everyone because that's how you get into cap hell in a few years.
  19. The Chiefs just signed him https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/05/02/chiefs-sign-clemson-receiver-justyn-ross/
  20. Joe Haden is still out there and apparently Von has been recruiting him. He's 33 so it would have to be a one-year deal. Elam needs competition and shouldn't just be handed the #2 cb job.
  21. After 4PM today May 2nd, signing free agents will no longer count against the compensatory draft pick formula. This date used to be June 2nd, but it's been moved up this year. While the Bills have very little cap space (we still don't know exactly how much cap our rookies will take up), Beane always knows how to make room using extensions (Poyer?) and restructures (maybe Dawkins) Who do you think the Bills might add post-draft?
  22. We were great on paper last year, but this season I think we become dominant. I think Von will not only get 10+ sacks, but help our young trio of Epenesa, Basham, and Rousseau reach their potential. He will have the same impact on our defensive line that Diggs had on our receiving corps.
  23. This is why NFL Europe was great. Teams could let their prospects get real game experience and give them time to develop. Fred Jackson played for the Rhein Fire and probably wouldn't have had an NFL career without having that opportunity after going undrafted.
  24. If we need to draft a 1st round running back after taking two guys in the 3rd round and one in the 2nd, then something is wrong with our talent evaluation.
