We have quantity, but not necessarily quality. Spencer Brown is still recovering from his injury from last season and we don't have a good replacement. If there's a good veteran OT cut, we need to bring them in. We need a veteran like we had with Ty Nsekhe who can fill in without hampering our offense.

Lorenzo Alexander- while still a good player in his other years with the Bills, he was a one-year-wonder in terms of sacks. He had 12.5 in 2016 with the Bills and never had more than 6 in any of his other 12 seasons.

I think we will wait until we play a preseason game and get a good feel for the progress of Elam, Benford, and McCloud. Tre may not be ready for week 1, but the Bills may prefer to develop our young talent instead of bringing in an over-the-hill veteran. We don't have much cap room left and I'd rather spend that on o-line depth to protect our franchise qb.

I think we need to keep McCloud on the active roster to protect him from being poached. He looked very good in preseason last year and there's a lot of uncertainty with Tre's injury and the fact that Elam's a rookie. Benford will likely be put on the practice squad and designated as protected. I think Neal could be cut if Terrel Bernard proves to be good enough in coverage to serve as the "big nickel" in certain packages. Neal only played 14% of the snaps on defense and is mainly a special teamer with 66% of the snaps. Injuries to Poyer and Hyde (and how well Jaquon Johnson fills in) as well as the recovery timeline of Tre will greatly effect who we keep.

Bernard is the complete opposite of Edmunds in every way. Edmunds had great size and testing, but questionable instincts. Bernard is tiny, but has amazing instincts. I think Bernard could be a steal with the upside of guys like Lavonte David or Demario Davis.

The Raiders got Davonte Adams and Chandler Jones. The Broncos got Russell Wilson. The Chargers got JC Jackson and Khalil Mack. The AFC West just became the most competitive division in the league. The Chiefs losing Tyreek Hill changes how defenses scheme against them and teams will be able to focus on taking away Kelce. They will be a good team for as long as they have Mahomes, but I think they will be less explosive on offense.

If they say he's out a few weeks it may just be arthroscopic surgery to clean up debris. That alone shouldn't prevent him from being available week 1 unless there's a more serious problem with his knee. They also signed Allen Robinson, who has been productive despite erratic qb play in Jacksonville and Chicago.

If the Bills really wanted to prevent people from posting video from practices to Youtube they should just play copyrighted music and practice naked so the videos would get removed.

I hope we can resign him to a team-friendly deal. He's an underrated runner and great in pass protection. Our offense improved when they started giving him a bigger percentage of snaps later in the season. He doesn't break a lot of big runs, but he got consistent yardage despite a constantly changing o-line.
