  1. But, but, he's one of the nicest guys on the NFL!
  2. I'm pretty sure Shane Conlan played in the first Super Bowl.
  3. Wins and Losses.
  4. Matt Bowen = Matt Stevens without the long hair
  5. Rob Johnson was the 1st pick of the 4th round. If we trade Eric Moulds for the 1st pick of the 4th, then............ EM = RJ
  6. Just like the Bills had the Saints, Raiders, Jets and many more this year.
  7. Overpaid? You pay to win the game!! HELLO!!!
  8. That's all we ask for. Thanks Marv!
  9. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2279669 There's your link "The Bills fired Tom Clements, the team's offensive coordinator the past two seasons, ESPN.com's Len Pasquarelli reported. Clements. 52, had previously worked on staffs in New Orleans, Kansas City and Pittsburgh."
  10. I wasn't around back then, but I will take your word for it and stand corrected, sir.
  11. I can picture the meeting between Pat Williams and new Vikings GM, Tom Donahoe: TD: "So, who were you referring to when you said 'they're a bunch of fools up there?' "
  12. We can throw any stat for our JP-bashers or our JP-apologists... Let me bring one I just made up, but that I think would be very accurate... If you could ask 100 Buffalo Bill fans what would they prefer to see in their lifetime from these: a) Pick a 1st-rd QB, watch him though his struggling first two or three years, and then finally realize he has developed into a great QB which is always mentioned amongst the best in the business, with lots of yards, wins and TDs (ala Dan Marino), but NO championships... b) A super bowl win with a journeyman QB (ala Trent Dilfer) Which one would you think they would prefer? Me too.
  13. More important according to who? Spurrier comes to my mind. He had experience running an entire major college program. What did that accomplish for the Redskins? Absolutely nothing. It only made the decision to go with him seem less risky. There's no error-proof way to approach a HC hiring. Nothing from the past will guarantee anything for the future.
  14. I don't know... Ferentz may one day be remembered as the greatest NFL coach of all-time, but... why is the love? Everyone seems so enamored with guys from the Belichick coaching tree. I'm not saying he's a bad coach, but come on! He deserves no more than any other NFL-proven coordinator. As far as I'm concerned, Ferentz can stay in college. He sure sounds despisable with his "I will listen, and if you can convince me..." attitude.
  15. We should get any help for our DL or OL... but, if that 5'11", fast, elusive, game-breaking WR is there...
  16. That's entirely correct, sir... save one little detail. At least RJ showed some heart. Mike did not do this even when it was a healthy heart.
  17. Guys... guys... guys... please let it go. If you want to talk about losers, fine, there's recently-fired (it's just that they have not announced it) Donahoe!!! Don't spoil one of the happiest days of our year!!!!
  18. I remember watching a video where Ralph looked pretty !@#$ing happy when we landed Dorenbos... no more boring flights home after a loss!
  19. I remember reading in January 2003 something like... "How can anyone say MW was a bad pick when we still don't know what he's capable of doing with some experience. Most rookie OL look bad in their first full year unless they have a great coach" We can then swap the Pittsburgh reference for a comment on McNally's abilities. So, I think you could make a case for not saying JP was a bad pick because it's too early to tell... but, I can't find a case of a QB who looked awful and was being labeled as a bust just before he took the NFL by storm and became a solid, playoff starting QB. It's just like with your boyfriend or girlfiend... first and second time you find out about some of his/her defects and despise them... you hope that with time, she can change or at least try to hide them... but you find out that he/she was trying to hide them from you so you thought they were the perfect one for you, and they become more evident and frequent as time goes on.
  20. Please don't !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just heard that a friend of mine working at the airport and waiting for his flight to depart, overheard a conversation between George Seifert and RW at the VIP lounge... he told me it seems they hit it off!!!!
  21. I hope you get good mileage out of your Rypien jersey, because the way I see it, it wouldn't be too far fethed to find you two years from now in your Losman Rochester jersey screaming your head off, while we scream for Rypien to QB the Bills (not that I like the guy, I despise him, but he's twice the QB that Holcomb or Losman will ever be)
  22. Now tell me how JP is doing in 2010... is he still a Bill? did he go to another team and led them to the Super Bowl?
  23. ESPN = RJ
  24. Being objective... being a friend of anyone, doesn't guarantee that someone is not a loser. I could be friends with Marv Levy and that wouldn't rule out the possibility of me being a loser... I could be friends with Tom Donahoe and that wouldn't rule out the possibilityof me NOT being a loser... I could be friends with George W Bush and that would....... mean that I'm a loser.
