  1. Play calling is weird. Not sure how much is Allen.
  2. This reminds me a lot of the Texans game. Throwing it up downfield with nobody open.
  3. I kind of think they were going to score regardless. At least we have time for a drive.
  4. Absolutely gutsy recovery by Bass this season. I thought he was done earlier this year.
  5. That Ekeler fumble was the last straw. Commanders might have had a chance if not for that.
  6. I don’t really get how it could be a “palpably unfair act” when the Eagles are screwing around doing a hard count.
  7. True, but that actually helped the Commies. It baited the Eagles into going for 2, which they failed to convert.
  8. There was like 2:30 left in the half like 25 minutes ago realtime. I know, because I was going to load the dishwasher at halftime and it’s taking forever.
  9. Foot out of bounds? Eh, I don’t know Jim. https://imgur.com/eRiOfzs
  10. That call sucks, because if the Commie defender holds up then Barkley just walks down the sideline into the endzone.
  11. How do they not also get Brown? He ripped Lattimore’s Helmet off.
  12. Seemed a little soft to me if they are letting them play. Didn’t help that Hurts floated it out there. Lattimore is in Brown’s head.
  13. There are 4 outcomes to consider: - Attempt FG and miss - Attempt FG and make it - Go for TD and make it - Go for TD and miss it The XP vs 2PT situation is only similar on the go for it and make it scenario. The other 3 possible outcomes are pretty different between the two.
  14. I think that situation is pretty different. If the Bills kick the FG vs the Ravens then they have to march down the entire field and score a TD and a 2 point conversion just to tie the game. After the FG, ESPN’s analytics thing put us at 95% chance to win. Kicking an XP to tie a game and go to OT would probably be ~50% chance to win.
  15. I will say that if we went for 2 in this scenario, is there any chance that the play isn’t Allen launching himself like a human torpedo into the endzone? It would be his Elway helicopter moment.
  16. My opinion depends on information that I don't have. If McDermott/Brady feel like they have a killer 2 point play that has a very good chance, then go for it. I'm talking like > 85%. If they don't, then kick the extra point and try your luck in overtime. Remember that both teams get a possession now even if the first team scores a TD in the playoffs.
  17. Earlier in the year it was obvious the Texans oline was bad, and it didn’t feel like they adjusted enough to that fact. Reminds me of Dorsey calling long developing pass plays when our offensive line wasn’t as good.
  18. No data, just the eye test. For additional support to that opinion, our LBers, Safeties and CBs have 5.5 combined sacks this year. That has to be near the bottom of the league. That doesn’t take into consideration pressures or blitz rate.
  19. I don’t think Allen has been the issue. Maybe we need a group therapy session for the defense to not choke. I would be very surprised if Rapp plays. Benford is already in the final stages of concussion protocol. He should play IMO.
  20. I agree that we just let him set up camp back there and instructed the lineman to stay in their lanes and not lose contain. We did blitz way more than we usually do this year (I think I read > 40%), but we aren't a great blitzing team. I kind of wonder how things would have been different if Harbaugh just decided to run the ball 40+ times with their RBs and gave Lamar 15 total pass attempts. I kind of think the Ravens might have won that game, so I'm glad he didn't.
  21. I think the Ravens were the best team in the NFL this season when they were really rolling. An offense just as good as the Lions, but with an elite defense to go with it (after they figured their issues out). I think the Bills offense was similarly good to the Ravens offense, but our defense isn't close. Can we lose to KC? Yea, all playoff games can be won by anybody, especially when you are playing on the road. Is KC a scarier team than the Ravens? No way, not in my opinion.
  22. If we beat the Chiefs this Sunday, we'll have been the only team that beat them this season. That would be kind of epic.
  23. Kincaid and Von don't really belong there. I guess we only have 7.
