  1. If PI was reviewable they would have to admit that they make up the criteria as they go.
  2. If the Jags sell out to stop the run then Allen is going to shred them. If they don’t, we’ll run all over them. I’m way more concerned about the defense than the offense for every game this year.
  3. At Kelce’s age you need to go extra hard in the offseason to keep up with the young guns. I’m kind of wondering if he didn’t put the work in due to his media responsibilities.
  4. The problem with small ball is that the NFL is so random. One weird bounce the past 3 weeks and the Chiefs have one or more loss. If you have a 2 score lead, or at least a 7 point lead then you are no longer at the mercy of the bad bounce. In fact, the Chiefs opponents so far have been the victims of the bad bounce (Likely toe out of bounds, 4th and forever DPI, blatant DPI in the endzone missed). I don't think any team really wants to play small ball unless they have to due to their personnel.
  5. I guess we'll see. If they continue to look like this I doubt it. If they are able to get better play out of their tackles and playmakers then all bets are off. They are depending on rookies for pretty key positions (starting LT and boundary WR).
  6. Hopefully it isn't so close that it depends on a missed DPI in the end zone. (Oh wait, that happened vs the Giants last season...)
  7. The Pats also went 9 seasons between Super Bowl wins during their dynasty. I don't think anybody is claiming the Chiefs aren't going to make the playoffs (they are obviously going to run away with their division), but they don't look SB-worthy.
  8. I disagree, I just think this is sort of what they are now. Their tackles are pretty bad (LT rookie was benched for the backup, and we already know RT Jawaan Taylor kind of stinks), but the interior of their line is elite. So they run up the gut and can't have Mahomes standing back there too long for long developing passing plays. Not to mention I don't think WR are really getting open down the field much. I don't think in the playoffs they will suddenly become a vertical passing team when they've been passing around the line of scrimmage all year. This year is all about leaning on the defense and playing small ball for them.
  9. I guess we'll see how everything pans out, but the Bengals are 0-2 and got smoked by the hapless Pats, the Ravens are 1-2 and now the Falcons are 1-2 and seem like they are headed for a .500 season.
  10. KC absolutely looks vulnerable. Surviving by the skin of their teeth every week, and against some pretty mid teams.
  11. London needs to knew where the first down marker is and stop dancing.
  12. They actually just need to score a TD. Maybe they could get cute with things if they just needed a FG.
  13. Chiefs now drawing calls for the same level of contact they've been having the entire game. Transparent make up calls just make the refs look worse.
  14. Yep, knew something had to happen
  15. That was actually a much worse DPI than last week, because at least last week the Bengals player was facing the QB and trying to make a play on the ball on a late/lofted pass.
  16. I was told vehemently that it was "obvious" and "they call that every time"
  17. Just as much of a PI as the Bengals play last week...
  18. Pass interference on an underthrown deep shot?
  19. The boring run on 3rd down made more sense. They had 2 plays called and were always going for it.
  20. It's easy to miss that facemask. It's not like it was on the guy with the ball, lol.
  21. Reminds me of Babcock when he coached the Red Wings. Clutch and grab all game. They can’t call them all.
  22. If you run into the DB he can’t follow his assignment, lol.
  23. When you give someone that many targets they are gonna get dinged up. He’s on pace for like 20 targets.
  24. 13 targets for Rice, jeez.
