I’ve been burned enough by sports fandom. My max enthusiasm is “cautiously optimistic”.

It’s wild that Lamar has almost 1k more yards than Allen. I think having a bad defense actually helps in terms of volume stats. Look at the yardage Burrow is racking up. Allen has sat quite a bit of time in the second half, or just had times where the Bills were handing off to run the clock. Mahomes is still a dark horse in my mind. Similar stats to Allen, but with 4 more turnovers. If the Bills falter and drop a couple games it could get close. He has 11 TDs, 2 INT, and 100 passer rating over the last 5 games. It’s Allen’s to lose right now, but he still needs to finish strong.

I'm not sure if the NFL does in-person hearings with the player like the NHL. If they don't, I think his "apology" letter was enough to show he has zero contrition and will do this again the next chance he gets. Good suspension IMO. We can't have dudes knocking out QBs. There aren't even enough good QBs for each team to have one.

Based on the WIVB story it sounds a lot like a drunk guy said "I'm going down the stairs" and then he did. The little girl was bumped and fell into someone's lap. Something like this happens every football game I'd imagine without a news story. Is it rude to bump people as you go down the stairs? Yes, especially children. Did "Bills Mafia" decide as a group to grab this girl and throw her off the upper deck as portrayed initially? No...

I'm surprised to see that the Rams are having a fairly middle-of-the-road season on offense. They have a lot of talent.
