I’ve landed flat on my back and knocked the wind out of myself. Doesn’t feel good. -

Is this like the worst reffing crew in the league? Picking up flags multiple times, giving the wrong player numbers, super late flags, a couple phantom calls. Jeez Louise! -

Coleman is getting zero separation, he needs to be better than that. Even the completed deep pass that came back on the bogus holding he had a guy literally on his hip. -

We were losing 14-0 last week. I mean I thought we would probably win, but a loss was possible. -

Can WRs catch the ball? Shakir had that in both hands in front of his face mask. Doesn’t get better than that throw. -
Seattle is basically eliminated for all intents and purposes. Rams will win the division unless a bunch of stuff happens, which is very unlikely. Bucs vs Falcons for the NFC South is interesting. If they finish with the same record Falcons win the division and they are tied at 8-7 right now. Bucs can steal with Wild Card from the Commanders if Bucs win out and Commanders lose out.

I think a snow game would be an advantage to Buffalo. They could focus on stopping the run and let Lamar throw into the snow. Allen is more used to throwing in the elements, so it should affect him less. This is actually the approach I would go with regardless of the weather, but it would be even more effective in the snow.

Raheem Blacksheer to start at RB for Panthers
DapperCam replied to Desert Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
So many depth RBs I want to catch up with. Karlos Williams, Anthony Thomas, Chris Ivory, Boobie Dixon, Tashard Choice, Mike Tolbert, Latavius Murray, Shaud Williams. The list goes on and on! Not Zack Moss though... -
I have to disagree. Our most likely divisional round opponent is the Ravens, and I would much rather face them here than in Baltimore.

I would be shocked if the Broncos lose to the KC backups. I would say there is like an 85% chance we will be hosting the Broncos on Wild Card weekend, and like 10% chance we face the Colts instead. Then I guess it will depend on how week 18 goes for whether we'd be looking at Texans, Ravens, Steelers or Chargers in round 2. The most likely scenario IMO is all of those teams win next week (they should all be favored). That would give: DEN(7) at BUF(2) LAC(6) at BAL(3) PIT(5) at HOU(4) In that case we'll be facing the Ravens, Texans or Steelers theoretically in round 2. If the Ravens win their Wild Card game we would face them no matter what. If the Ravens lost their Wild Card game, then we would face the winner of the Steelers vs Texans. Seeds 3, 5, and 6 can still move around a bit. If Baltimore loses and the Steelers win, Baltimore becomes 5 and the Steelers become 3. If the Steelers lose and the Chargers win, Steelers become 6 and Chargers become 5.

Then Lamar's defense pitches a shutout on Christmas (and his RB gets a buck fifty on the ground), and somehow all of the talk is how he was the star of the game and he's caught up in the MVP race? It is almost identical to the 49ers game last year where Lamar "clinched" the MVP (because narratives), when he did very little impressive and his defense got FIVE interceptions. FIVE! They were by far the reason the Ravens won that game, not Lamar at all. What I've learned is, if you have an okay game where you do whats necessary and your defense pitches a shutout or gets 5 interceptions then that is an MVP defining performance somehow. Makes no sense to me at all! Most QBs could have won those games with the performances on defense.

Seahawks-Bears anyone? (Live Game Thread)

They should just sign Cam Robinson or Ronnie Stanley in free agency this year. They have a QB and #1 WR on rookie contracts, now would be the time for that sort of thing. -

He has 72 million reasons to smile. In his defense, his unit did just hold the other team to 6 points. Not much more they can do (other than score a defensive TD I guess). -

9.3 million people live in the Chicago metro area. Even if only a small percentage get off on suffering via sports fandom, that's probably enough to fill a stadium. -

If you are confused about why the Seahawks look so uninspired despite fighting for a playoff spot, this game has almost no bearing on their ability to make the playoffs. No matter what happens this game, if the Rams lose or tie vs the Cardinals this weekend then next weeks Seahawks vs Rams matchup is for the division. There is a slim chance winning tonight could help them in a strength of victory tie breaker if the Rams win this week but lose next week, but it's unlikely. -

I still think Caleb Williams can be good, but a pretty disappointing rookie year. Stinks for Bears fans that ownership decided to keep a lame duck coach around for another year. -
I think Cam Ward is the only NFL QB in this class, and I probably wouldn’t trade up for him.

#1 based on beating up cupcakes in the regular season. 2021 - A great defense isn't giving up 42 points to any team (especially when there were zero turnovers by the offense to give a short field), and definitely isn't allowing the game tying score in 13 seconds. 2022 - A great defense isn't giving up 31 points to Skylar Thompson or giving up 27 points at home in the Divisional round. The scheme of this defense plays well in the regular season, and gets obliterated in the playoffs. This has been true since the corpse of Philip Rivers was one or two passes from upsetting us in the Wild Card.
