  1. Even the “arm punt” in the Pats game Coleman slipped and fell in the end zone. It was a 50/50 ball where the WR would have at least been there to make an attempt if not for slipping.
  2. Jackson has more turnovers than Allen this year. Jackson has one more turnover (actually way more fumbles but most were recovered), and two more TDs. In the span of a season their stats are basically a wash unless you really care about yards which seems silly because the Ravens and Bills are basically tied in offensive metrics like points per game.
  3. Best case scenario is the defense holds teams to FGs and produces some turnovers. I don't think we'll be able to stop teams much between the 20s. The offense will need to produce.
  4. Why aren't they supposed to say who they are voting for? Just weird...
  5. Penn State is selling out to stop the run, and Boise St took too long to figure it out. Passing down the field has worked for the most part.
  6. If Allen already had an MVP, then I think there is a good chance that this upcoming Lions vs Vikings game would be for who wins MVP. The stats aren’t really that different between all of the top QBs this year. The narrative formed around Allen, and that seems to be way more important than anything else (see Lamar’s win last year).
  7. Purdy can’t get away with mistakes like that because of arm strength. That throw needed to be a rocket in there.
  8. And caffeine. Campbell drinks enough coffee each day to kill a small horse.
  9. Most of the voting list for MVP are talking head idiots. There are a few newspaper journalists sprinkled in there.
  10. This is gonna mess up his yards per game. At least one dumb MVP voter that barely pays attention will base their vote on that.
  11. A big reason he has such huge volume stats is because he has to continue to throw his team back into the game. The two Bills games that come to mind where that happened were the Lions game and Rams game. Imagine if Allen had a season of stats like that.
  12. Really strange to not have the Steelers and Ravens play at the same time on Sunday. Now the Steelers might (probably will?) rest their starters if the Ravens win the earlier game.
  13. Lamar fans online talking about MVP are just toxic. Hoping they somehow lose the division next weekend.
  14. If the Bucs win next week they are out no matter what. If the Bucs lose and Falcons win then they are in.
  15. Pretty good game. Falcons defense just didn't have any juice left for OT. Commies marched down the field with ease.
  16. A lot of head coaches are former players. Most former players barely got a HS education.
  17. Penix throws a nice ball. He's had some inaccurate moments, but I think it could be nerves.
  18. I wouldn’t say zero statistical case. He has 2 less TDs and one less turnover. Over 16 games they’ve played so far that is basically a wash. And then if you try to put those numbers into context you’ll notice that Lamar has a HOF RB having one of his best seasons, while the Bills don’t have a 1k yard WR or RB this year. So statistically basically tied in metrics that matter (scoring and turnovers), but with significantly less help.
  19. He has to take the first snap for it to count as a start. He’ll probably play the first drive IMO.
  20. I wish they would let Trubisky try to run an actual offense in these scenarios. When else will he get live game reps? Henne beat the Browns for the Chiefs one postseason.
  21. Glad Tyrod didn’t start, he looks sharper on his passes than Rodgers was.
  22. Are you not allowed to jump on the pile? I didn’t know that.
  23. I think Rodger’s offensive line might hate him.
  24. He really was getting on a roll before Poyer smoked him. Hope he can find it again this season.
