  1. 8 receptions on 7 targets? Now who is defeating the entirety of math itself?
  2. I counter this weak arm notion with That last throw was the longest pass of the season in the NFL in terms of air yards.
  3. I maintain that Coleman should be unstoppable on slants. Him and Allen should practice that route 1000 times this offseason until both can do it in their sleep. Coleman has exceeded my expectations for his rookie year (they were pretty low). If not for his injury, he’s probably looking at 700-800 yards and 7 TDs. That would be great for a rookie WR who was considered a “project”.
  4. Imagine being the desk jockey in the league office making a regular person salary with the power to take $1.5m away from Miller by changing this from a sack to a half sack. They retroactively adjust game stats all the time for errors, just saying…
  5. I think Dorsey is a bad OC, but he’s 100% just a scape goat here. Stefanski can fire his assistants and buy another year.
  6. Tbh I think he’d be better in the slot. He could run a quick route, turn around and box out the smaller slot corner. Almost like an inbound pass in basketball. I don’t think he’ll ever be a great boundary WR, but he can still be productive and worth an early 2nd round pick.
  7. We have a lot of contracts coming up…Benford, Cook, Shakir, Bernard, Rousseau…maybe Cooper, Hollins or Douglas. Now that Allen has a higher cap hit I think we need our draft picks and cap space to fill in the roster.
  8. Rams, Steelers cover
  9. Or defensive holding out of his break. Take your pick.
  10. Dan Campbell is so red. I’m concerned for that man’s health.
  11. Bills path to victory is confusing Nix with coverages and forcing him to turn it over. He’s a rookie and McDermott’s scheme seems to do pretty well historically vs rookies. Allen should be able to throw on them, Broncos are 26th against the pass. Broncos do get a decent amount of picks, so need to take care of the ball.
  12. No, 89 was way off to the right. Goff didn’t even throw it in his direction. It hit an offensive lineman in the back. But I don’t think it’s illegal touching because the guy didn’t try to catch it. Should have just been intentional grounding.
  13. Lights are too bright for our friend Sam Darnold.
  14. Yea, I guess I thought the seeding was swapped. So KC would have to get beaten by PIT in that scenario, which wouldn’t be a divisional matchup. If BUF, PIT and LAC all win wild card weekend then we would face LAC and KC would face PIT in that scenario. Because PIT is the lower seed and they reseed each round. I think PIT could beat BAL, but I think they get smoked by the Chiefs.
  15. I’m being facetious, but it isn’t so crazy. Charger beating the Texans is what I expect to happen. Baltimore vs the Steelers is a division matchup. Probably will be a one score game either way. A theoretical Chargers vs Chiefs matchup is a divisional game. Will probably be a one score game either way.
  16. Saleh is an okay coach, but any team with a rookie QB not hiring an offensive HC isn’t paying attention.
  17. Our path to the Super Bowl is now clear. vs DEN vs PIT vs LAC
  18. The fact that Bo Nix doesn’t have a perfect passer rating right now tells me it is a flawed stat.
  19. There is absolutely a hive mind thing going on where people vote who they think they “should” vote, and who their peers will vote for. If you locked people in a room and made them watch an 8 hour presentation on the 2023 MVP candidates and then had them vote without any interaction with each other there is no way Lamar almost wins unanimously. He might not even win in that scenario. This year people “should” vote for Allen, so he will win in a landslide. The invisible hand of sports media has spoken.
  20. I think he’s a good coach and Tennessee were dumb to fire him.
  21. I don’t think it’s been Taron Johnson’s best season. Benford probably should have gotten the nod though.
  22. That is a really strange tweet unless Dalvin knows about an extension that is in the works. James is under contract for one more season on his rookie deal. Personally I would let Cook walk at the end of his rookie deal and focus on other players that need deals, but I won’t be upset if they opt to keep him either. He is our first “home run hitter” in a long time. Maybe since Lee Evans or CJ Spiller.
  23. It is so dumb that a Pro Bowl would be included in anything like that. It’s been detached from actual on-field performance for a long time.
  24. Even the “arm punt” in the Pats game Coleman slipped and fell in the end zone. It was a 50/50 ball where the WR would have at least been there to make an attempt if not for slipping.
