  1. KC has been nearly blowing games all year. They could easily lose this game if JAX defense shows up and the offense doesn’t turn it over like last week. Hope the other Josh Allen has a huge game.
  2. Watched the highlights of last week’s Cincy game and was pretty unimpressed with Burrow and the Bengals offense. Maybe it was the strategy, but they were very conservative and weren’t really pushing it downfield. Also gave the ball back to the Ravens with 3 minutes left to give them a chance (and they did drive down to the red zone before a holding call killed them). Try giving the ball back to Allen with 3 minutes left and see how that works out for you.
  3. Not to mention KC’s offense seems tailored to get him gaudy passing stats. Shovel passes and fake handoffs where you flick it forward 3 inches? Also his team must lead the league in YAC which makes things a lot easier for him. Sure the YAC is partially him throwing accurate passes on time, but I think it’s 90% scheme personally.
  4. The people charging those prices are nuts. People won’t buy them and they will have to lower.
  5. I’m assuming the game is already sold out for a potential BUF-JAX home game? Looking on Ticketmaster, tickets way in the nosebleeds in the corner are $500+ a pop. Tickets anywhere else are $1k+ a ticket.
  6. Considering we had no major injuries last week, and we won, it was probably better to not have the bye. No chance to get rusty, and got some looks against speedy WR and a good pass rush. It would have been nice to face the lower seed in the divisional though…
  7. Don’t look up the ticket prices for a possible Bills-Jaguars home AFCCG if you have a weak stomach. Yeesh!
  8. McKenzie said the play was supposed to be a run the other way and he was just a decoy. Not sure who is right, but somebody got the playcall wrong there.
  9. They’ve really only been able to keep Bienemy on the offensive side of the ball and he seems to not be very good anyway. KC almost didn’t bring him back this year.
  10. It’s almost like the Bills are planning ahead. I never thought I’d see the day.
  11. Is this a thread about a thread about a thread? Is it game day yet or what?
  12. Burrow threw 4 picks week 1 vs the Steelers when he had hardly any prep time because of recovering from his appendix being removed. He’s definitely less turnover prone than Allen. If you look at the throws they make though, Burrow throws a lot more little hooks, slants and screens that are less likely to get picked. They have the WR to get YAC. Every Allen throw seems to be 15 yards downfield which is a lot riskier.
  13. Hodgins isn’t a good run blocker and doesn’t play special teams. Those seem very important to this coaching staff for depth WR. Props to Hodgins making the most of his situation though. I think I would have kept him over Kumerow, Brown or Beasley. I would like Shakir to get more targets.
  14. I would be saying the Bills should have won another game this year and maybe not choked against the Steelers. If the Bengals and Bills went into that game with the same record they would have a point…but that wasn’t the case.
  15. Man, Bengals fans are really whiny about the game being in Buffalo this weekend. Let’s go over who got what benefits (as it relates to the Bills-Bengals and ignore the Ravens coin flip stuff because it isn’t relevant here). Bills hurt by: - Lost the ability to get the #1 seed Cincy hurt by: - Lost the ability to get the #1 seed or #2 seed Concessions made to the Bills: - Neutral site AFCCG if same losses as Chiefs at the end of the year Concessions made to the Bengals: - Neutral site AFCCG if same losses as Chiefs at the end of the year It doesn’t seem hugely unfair if you assume the Bills-Bengals game never happened. They were both given the same concessions, the Bills just went into that game with a better record so it feels like they got “more” to sour grapes Bengals fans.
  16. Lol, what does that have to do with anything? I know Cincy is closer to the Bible Belt than Buffalo, but this is just bizarre
  17. I think it just means everybody is betting on the Bills, so Vegas moves the line to entice people to bet on the Bengals.
  18. 65 attempts for Brady? Jeez, what’s the record?
  19. Bills seem worse than average at 3rd/4th and long, which frustrates people because they are good in other 3rd down scenarios. Why the difference? It seems like just a slightly different coaching approach could get much better results.
  20. I can get on board with a Cowboys win, but only if it is an all-time bad playoff performance by Brady.
  21. I wonder if there is a way for the Bucs to win without Brady at QB. Not necessarily an injury, but maybe a nervous breakdown during the first quarter? Or maybe retiring at halftime?
  22. Beasley did have a big first down with a great YAC effort and a TD. Then again he had a miss on a not totally accurate pass on the first drive and bounced one to the other team. I wouldn’t call it absolute dog crap though (and I can’t stand the guy).
  23. Okay fine, he goes for another half rotation, which was all it took to cover the remaining ground between himself and Allen’s ankle. I’m pretty sure a professional athlete can stop himself from barrel rolling like that, especially when he’s already slowing down halfway through.
  24. That was intentional for sure. He takes a look and then goes for another rotation. He also slammed into the back of a Ravens lineman tonight injuring him well after the play was done.
  25. If you watched the Bills game you would have seen that 7 of those points were from a defensive score and 3 scores were the results of short fields from turnovers and special teams mistakes. Those are all reasons the Bills could lose next week, but hard to pin that on the defense.
