Maybe I'm a conspiracy theorist, but I think the broadcast chooses not to show penalty replays when they are complete BS. It isn't a good look for the league, so they just choose not to show the replay.

Am I wrong to think you should give Hurts a little bit of punishment at the bottom of that pile? Refs boned us on that second false start on the previous drive, and that holding on 3rd and long was technically correct but I guarantee that same infraction will happen 15 more times this game uncalled.

Looks like the Dolphins have lost Phillips for the year (and some of next year?) with an Achilles injury. It's a blow for the rest of their season because he was playing very well.

Allen could go on a tear to end the year and win it going away. We’ll see if the team is up to the task.

Jets O and special teams shutout through 3 quarters. Couldn’t even muster a FG. Couldn’t even get an XP on the defensive TD.

Jets defense must be pissed. Point differential from the perspective of the Jets defense should be +3 for the Dolphins, which is really good.

I think their defense is going to follow the trends and “quiet quit”

Sean Payton missing the playoffs with Drew Brees was a massive failure. Tomlin missing the playoffs in 2018 was a massive failure. Some of those other years had just “good” QB performances. If you have a QB putting up a top-5 performance in the league for their position in a given year, you should make the playoffs or it is a coaching failure IMO. Maybe that was less true in the past, but with the way the rules are now I think it is true. Allen is on pace for a top 5 finish at his position. Maybe top 1 depending on how you weigh TDs vs turnovers.

I went through the simulator and got: 1. KC (14-3) 2. JAX (13-4) 3. BAL (12-5) 4. MIA (12-5) 5. CLE (11-6) 6. HOU (10-7) 7. PITT (10-7) Outside looking in...BUF (10-7), DEN (9-8), IND (9-8) I had Miami the last week of the season being win-and-in, and we lost (terribly Billsy of them).
