  1. Hope he doesn’t have health issues. I wonder if McDermott will be more involved in playcalling or if we will find a replacement.
  2. I don’t think there are any more edge rushers coming to help this year. Basically hope the line is good enough to get us into the playoffs (it probably is), and hope Miller is one of those genetic freaks that can come back from an ACL and not miss a beat for the run at the end of the year.
  3. Look at Daniel Jones this year and compare him to 2015 Tyrod Taylor (his first year starting with the Bills). They have almost identical stats (Taylor has 2 less games played so slightly less volume stats). Taylor even had a higher passing rating and QBR! In fact if you look at the 3 years Taylor played for the Bills, each season sort of looks like a Daniel Jones season. Did Tyrod Taylor secure a huge extension when he was done here? No! Because that would have been dumb!
  4. Not to mention a bunch of Allen’s interceptions were Davis targets. Idk if it was David’ fault, but those guys were not on the same page all year. A #2 WR who can get separation and catch consistently should produce like a #1 in this offense. Considering how many targets they get and how good Allen is.
  5. If only the Bills thought big like the Minnesota Vikings we would have won a Super Bowl just like them! Wait…
  6. I could see Crowder back on a cheap deal if the Bills liked what they saw from him before his injury. Reliable slot is still a hole. The rest I agree are goners. The real investment on offense can be in the form of Edmunds cap $$$ being spent on offense.
  7. Evans could be an even better Gabe Davis. He actually makes contested catches. Imagine that heave at the end of the Jets game. Bet it wouldn’t have bounced off Evans’ chest.
  8. We were remarkably healthy the season before last (only injury all year basically was Tre). That was kind of lucky.
  9. I am okay with spending a first or second pick on an Edmunds replacement if it means we are taking his cap and spending it on the offense (either guard, tackle or legit WR2).
  10. Poyer seemed washed at the end of the year and playoffs. It’s possible he was just banged up and he’d be back to normal after healing up in the offseason. Seems risky and expensive though.
  11. My guess - our more expensive “special teams aces” are going to be not brought back so we’re finding cheaper replacements to save some cap $$$. The difference might pay for 1/4 of one competent starting guard!
  12. Lee is just defending people he played with. I’m not sure if he has actual credibility on whether or not we can criticize play calling. His general point of let’s see what happens next year is fine though.
  13. #1. Sign or trade for the best RT available. Shed cap on the defensive side if necessary even if it means losing talent like Edmunds or Oliver. (If I’m allowed to do more than one thing then also fix LG maybe in the draft). Yea, but it would help a lot!
  14. The first one was a one read set play. It was basically a trick play with fake motion. The second one was similar, but at least his throw had to beat the rush. If Dorsey schemed guys open like that Allen would hit the wide open guy at the goal line too.
  15. They could let Edmunds walk, use one of the top two picks in the draft to replace him and use the saved cap to sign an actual good veteran offensive lineman (or even maybe two).
  16. And one of the TDs was basically a punt return TD. Ball was at the 5 yard line to start the drive.
  17. It’s his fifth year option so it is fully guaranteed. They would have to trade him to get rid of the cap hit.
  18. I liked the part where he threw to 2 wide open WRs at the goal line that were schemed open by Reid. He might be 800% better 🙄
  19. I think it was going to be 4th down and the clock stopped.
  20. Oh yea, for sure. At the end of an elimination game in the playoffs you pretty much have to decapitate someone to get called. It’s another reason NHL reffing is bad but predictable, so you know what to expect.
  21. NHL reffing might be worse, but at least it is more predictable. If a team is down, they probably get the next power play. If the penalties are getting uneven, the team with less penalties is probably getting the next one. Even better if you can even up the penalties after the game is already out of hand.
  22. He grabbed him out of the break, but they can’t call it there. Especially since they didn’t call it all game.
  23. Eagles gave that game away. They were the superior team and they choked big time. Chiefs are lucky to have Reid. Hopefully he actually retires…I think things would start to look very different for KC…
  24. Those teenagers that get his haircut love his brother. Only grumpy old people on forums (is that some kind of retro TikTok?) are annoyed by his brother.
  25. Lol, was that really the playcall? Was the plan for Hurts to throw it 75 yards in the air, because he obviously can’t.
