I think this makes a little bit of sense. Probably something Terry is mulling over. The plan was to have Kim take over for the next 20 years while Terry entered an older age, but that doesn’t seem like it will be possible with her health. The Bills will have a value boost with a new stadium. He could sell in 5 years or so and make a tidy profit. He could even leave the Sabres to his children to run, which will be a much more reasonable tax bill. I doubt a new owner will want to pay a billion dollar penalty just to move the team. These people are rich, but a billion dollars is still a lot of money even to someone like Bezos.

Just like Lawson, Klein is a good depth vet signing at a low cap hit. He’s better at stopping the run and rushing the passer than Edmunds is. But Edmunds is better at pass coverage. I like this move, there wasn’t much to do about MLB other than reach in the first round, which would be a mistake.

I think important positions to get a late round sleeper at would be safety and IOL. There will be starter spots open there in the next couple of years, and it would be nice to have a late round developed player already on the roster to step in.

Apparently Allen advocated to bring back Beasley and John Brown at the end of the year. If true, that would be pretty strong evidence.

I think 15m guaranteed is too much for him considering the risks. Only a one year deal though, and if the Ravens have the cap space, then why would they care? It might entice LJ to sign.

Lawson bouncing around the league was more about cost than him not being good enough to play. Jets fans said he was okay, but not worth his contract. He’d be getting a minimal contract for a vet rotational player, so it’s a totally different situation. McBeane will probably only bring him back if they don’t like the youth on the team to plug his spot.
