  1. I wonder what his reason was. This is a ding to depth for sure, but it's possible he would have landed on the practice squad anyway.
  2. That "HEY" was hilarious. I don't think there is anything wrong with a little skirmish in camp. Just don't swing your helmet dummy.
  3. Let’s get that no huddle going.
  4. Looking forward to watching the rookies and 2nd year players.
  5. Lol, I’m assuming that is a tank top that has rolled up? Or maybe something to keep a chest strap heart monitor on?
  6. No way. New ownership will let the coach ride out the season, get a high pick. Then they can clean house next offseason, and the new front office can get “their guy”.
  7. Some teams don’t seem to have an active message board, which is kind of sad. I lurk on PatsFans sometimes and they aren’t too bad. Some there have been humbled a bit lately. The software doesn’t work very well on mobile though. The people on FinHeaven are okay, but kind of delusional. I would be interested in seeing a list of NFL message boards/forums ranked by how active they are.
  8. If there were a league-wide re-draft, Mahomes would go #1 and Allen would go #2. Maybe some GM would take Burrow #2, but I think most would take Allen. I think Allen isn’t necessarily well-liked by players across the league. He plays nasty, trash talks, flops, and I also think some players may not have forgiven him for his tweets that came out around draft time. This is voted for by the players after all.
  9. Not sure why we never got Hines involved in the passing game more (to beat a dead horse). Hope he gets a nice injury settlement, and his career isn’t done.
  10. Brad Butler was a decent tackle that randomly decided to retire and try to work on politics. Not sure what he’s up to now.
  11. Waller might be washed. There aren’t that many really good TEs right now.
  12. How is Bienemy 6? Didn’t Reid do the play calling in KC?
  13. Kind of nuts that Allen could realistically take #1 by the end of his career.
  14. Unexpected Hamilton
  15. Is this guy just trying to skip training camp? Wouldn’t be the first time…
  16. So much for the posters privately wishing McDermott is on the hot seat. These guys should be forever grateful to Josh Allen, he’s earned them a lot of dough.
  17. Saying it is a long shot is just pessimistic. We were #4 in defensive DVOA last year without Hyde, Miller missing time, Oliver gimpy, Tre White basically missing the year, Poyer gimpy, Dane Jackson having his neck bent backwards, etc. Cam Lewis (who?) saw significant starting time. We might not be top 5 because a lot of randomness happens in football, but it isn't a long shot.
  18. I actually think we have some question marks on defense, that could end up being no big deal, but are still there nonetheless. - What will Von Miller be like post-ACL tear? - Will Tre White return to form? - How much will we miss Edmunds? - How effective will Hyde and Poyer be after injury-filled last season? - Will Elam take the next step and be a legit starter at CB2 (able to handle both man and zone)? - How will things be different with McDermott calling the plays? Might all be good, but definitely some risk for regression there.
  19. Only omission seems to be Tre White All Pro season
  20. In 2023, definitely Reid
  21. I have no issue rooting for basically the entire NFC North, especially the Lions. Especially with Rodgers gone now. 49ers also have a fun team right now.
  22. And Daboll got plenty of hate as well. Not sure what the point of this thread is. As for my reasons for not liking Dorsey last year: - Offense felt like Allen just running around improvising too much - Weak run game with the RBs. YPC was okay, but there was no confidence to run if we needed 2-3 yards for a first down. Even 1 yard seemed dicey on a critical down. - Lack of outlets to make things easier for Allen. Where is the screen game? What about some jet sweeps or misdirection to keep the defense guessing? - Lack of adjustment to the o-line being putrid. He doesn’t get to choose the players, but maybe don’t stick with slowly developing passing plays when the LG and RT are turnstiles? A general lack of adjustment was a theme. I’m fine with the vertical passing game, but if that isn’t clicking for a given game and you have nothing else, then you’re cooked (see: Bengals playoff loss).
  23. More intelligence just means more elaborate delusions
