You're deluding yourself.
McDermott for his faults is actually pretty good at performing well with less talent (remember the Tyrod playoff Bills team?), and Allen is at the peak of his powers. Predicting 4-2 with some absolutely mid teams on the schedule is not delusional.

That's kinda my point. Seems like every time we play these guys lately they thrash us and we get horribly banged up. I think it's at best 50/50 for a dub.
I’m hoping Brady is a big difference maker this year, since he can actually put into place his offense. I guess we’ll find out soon enough.- 1

Putting the Jagwires down as a W, when they have been physically kicking our asses the past few seasons is certainly bold.
I’m not going to read too much into an overseas game where we lost our All Pro LB and very important starting DT mid game. Not to mention that game was the beginning of the end for Dorsey. Brady probably wins that game. Bills marched down the field with ease in the 4th quarter when they actually started play calling with urgency.

6-11 to 8-9
1-5 start is a real possibility given the weakness of this roster.
7 is about my comfort zone for this sad squad.
1-5 start? No way, even with the weak roster.Cardinals - W
@ Dolphins - W
Jaguars - W
@ Ravens - L
@ Texans - L
@ Jets - W
Dolphins game is Thursday night, so the evil sun shouldn’t be a factor.

Never seen a guy 6th in yards from scrimmage in the entire nfl get as much crap as Cook does. It’s insane
Stats aren’t gained in a vacuum. The o-line performed pretty well last year, and Cook benefitted from Allen being the second best QB in the league (and always a dangerous threat to run it himself).Cook performed well, but I think there are a bunch of RBs out there that could have put up similar numbers given the circumstances. I would be surprised if Cook gets a second contract from us.

I like how he picks a hole and hits it hard. That is ideal for certain types of scenarios, and I'm not sure Cook is really capable of it. Cook is a more patient runner, but sometimes that leads to a loss of yards.

Bottom of the RB roster looking pretty good.

Ball was thrown late and slow. Coleman would have been obliterated if he fully stretched out for that. Pretty much the definition of a hospital pass.- 1

Interior of the offensive line getting off to as good a start as last week.
More rushers than blockers. Trubisky stinks. -

If Josh gets points on his first series…just pull him. There’s no point in him seeing the field till the Arizona game then.
Being the Steelers should be very good on D again I just want tonight a consistent oline push. They have a week like last week and I’m going to be grabbing for the Rolaids every game when Josh goes back to pass.
Don’t really agree. We have a brand new WR group, and a lot of changes on the o-line (including center). Getting live game reps is important.- 1

Is Hunter Renfrow a murderer?
I’m assuming Renfrow wants an actual NFL contract with an expectation to make the roster of whatever team signs him. This guy is a camp body. -
I think we all owe the "Thigh Doctor" an apology.

Yikes, that’s a bummer for the Vikings.
….doesn’t hurt our 2nd round pick though.
Meh, Darnold would probably be better this year anyway.

Didn't it come out that Trubisky couldn't throw to his left? I think in general he's been a QB where if his first read isn't open then he's screwed. That was okay in college, but not in the NFL. Also seems like his accuracy can be really wonky sometimes.
I kind of wonder how Drake Maye will do. Seems like he had a similar college career, and he just got picked #3 overall. -

if you look close at the 2.5 second mark his jersey is being pulled. I mean it doesn't matter because the throw is so bad but there was definitely too much contact.
Pretty clearly gets tugged on the jersey near his collar in the front. Caused his body to actually turn back toward the DB when he was turning to face the passer.
Maybe the DB gets lucky in the regular season, but I think if a ref sees that they will call it.

We’ve moved from the competition to make the bottom of the roster, to the competition to make the practice squad.
-
Okay, I think that's enough of that. Offensive line and safeties left something to be desired. Special teams was sloppy as well.

Does Claypool get the last spot by default?

The roster-bubble WRs are out there now. Field seems slippery, lots of people tumbling.
-
Bears remind me a lot of drought era Bills teams. Good-to-great defense, can't figure out offense or get a QB. Caleb Williams looks like the real deal though.

DB contact is legal within 5 yards of LOS.
Holding isn't, lol. He totally grabbed him, otherwise Coleman would have been open (not that Trubisky would have hit him anyway).- 1

I’m not blaming him for the play. But he wasn’t open in the redzone either.
On the second one he got grabbed out of his break. No WR would be open.

I think we have less depth than past years. I don’t expect any trades like this.
