I will say that I think the refs really screwed us in the first half. However, maybe if we beat the Pats and Jets we could afford to lose on the road to an 8-1 team and the refs.
McDermott’s scheme doesn’t work when the game is on the line. Good offenses will absolutely take the underneath stuff and move down the field. If we don’t get a turnover in these situations (KC regular season win last year) then it’s a foregone conclusion basically.
The defense has choked away so many games when all they need is one stop in the McDermott era it’s mind boggling. They must be #1 in that statistic if there is a way to track it.
Bills defense completely collapsed in the second half. 5 TDs and a FG in the second half and OT. In the pouring rain.
Pathetic! I don’t care how injured they are. That is a sorry display.
Maybe I'm a conspiracy theorist, but I think the broadcast chooses not to show penalty replays when they are complete BS. It isn't a good look for the league, so they just choose not to show the replay.
Am I wrong to think you should give Hurts a little bit of punishment at the bottom of that pile?
Refs boned us on that second false start on the previous drive, and that holding on 3rd and long was technically correct but I guarantee that same infraction will happen 15 more times this game uncalled.
Looks like the Dolphins have lost Phillips for the year (and some of next year?) with an Achilles injury. It's a blow for the rest of their season because he was playing very well.
