  1. The last time I remember this being brought up was the Green Bay game last year where he forgot how to play football after the first half and started inexplicably throwing the ball to the other team. It’s not impossible he got his bell rung then, and also had it happen Monday night. Allen takes a lot of hits, and doesn’t strike me as the type to pull himself out of the game. Also, he has a documented concussion a few years ago.
  2. I wanted Daboll to move on, but I also don’t think Dorsey is an improvement. I don’t think those ideas contradict each other. Kind of surprised Palmer would be this candid about a high profile client of his. Kind of makes me think Allen might agree.
  3. You think there is a slim chance that a football player has played through multiple undiagnosed concussions in their career? Lol! There is an entire movie with Will Smith about this.
  4. Honestly, pretty solid circumstantial evidence. That was the equivalent of a rabbit punch.
  5. It doesn’t matter how good your QB is if your receivers can’t catch or get open. I also think Mahomes had an off night. A lot of the drops were not well placed passes. Kelce should be back, and it will be fine for them. But if he’s hindered by lingering issues all year there is no replacement for him (maybe in the history of the NFL, let alone a player they could insert into their lineup this year).
  6. I didn’t vote Giants, Vikings or Steelers, because I think those fan bases kind of knew their teams would be bubble playoff teams, and week 1 doesn’t really change that much. I voted Bengals, because Burrow still seems kind of banged up. If he isn’t right, then they are sunk. I actually think second would be Chiefs because they looked bad on offense against a not great Lions defense without Kelce. If he has health issues this year, it looks like they will need to figure something out. Third I would say the Bills, because Allen hasn’t looked good the last stretch of games. Can he pull his head out of his rear?
  7. That Cowboys line seems way out of whack. I’m not a gambler, but I see a good defensive low scoring game there.
  8. The problem could be a little bit Ken Dorsey. I've read that we have a deep to shallow passing progression, where Allen is supposed to look deep, then intermediate, then short for a dump off. If the deep stuff is never going to be there, then this offensive philosophy is flawed and will have Allen standing in the pocket too long. I think we're going to need more than 1 game against an elite defense (probably top 3 with the Cowboys and 49ers) to know for sure. By the midway point of the season we'll see if the TEs are actually getting more involved.
  9. Bills could easily win their next 7 games leading up to the Bengals. Only two where they won't be heavily favored is Dolphins at home and Jacksonville in London. I think we win both of those games. We don't face another really tough defense until a run of Broncos. Jets. Eagles and Cowboys in the later part of the season. Hopefully the offense will have worked out some kinks by then.
  10. I'm pretty sure that was a miscommunication rather than an inaccurate pass. Either Diggs or Allen messed up where the route was supposed to go.
  11. I think this will be a big win for the Bills.
  12. Yea, Allen needs to have more awareness. He can’t be running out of the back of the end zone taking a safety. Oh wait…that was Orlovsky!
  13. If he said it, then he could just not address the accusations. Happens all the time.
  14. Isn’t that supposed to be Joe Brady? If Dorsey is still floundering halfway through the season, I’m assuming he will be the interim OC.
  15. Pegula released a statement denying he ever said it. He has no history of this sort of thing (and actually seems to have inclusive stuff/programs through the Bills and Sabres), so I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt without more evidence.
  16. I pretty much agree with this. Hope we don’t meet the Jets wildcard weekend.
  17. This loss looked like a carbon copy of last year’s Jets loss. In fact Allen’s picks last year were even more head scratching. We still managed to go 13-3 despite that. I think we will still cruise to the division (I’m not a big Dolphins or Tua believer), but the thought in the back of my mind is whether we’ll be able to beat a tough team in the playoffs. I kind of think not. This team can beat up bad teams in the regular season.
  18. The saying is that they won the battle but lost the war
  19. This team gives up so many huge running plays. More than other teams that don’t even have a good running D. Like the Cook TD run last year, or D. Henry. Seems to be a scheme issue.
  20. It does seem like every bad decision ended up in tragedy. Kind of bad luck in that way. On the Mosley near-pick, I think Cook stopped his route when he was supposed to keep running. It really was a worst-case scenario for outcomes.
  21. Jets won’t make the playoffs. Probably down to the Dolphins and Bills for the division now. We need to win those head-to-head matchups.
  22. Mahomes frequently has wide open receivers that get him huge RAC. This is because Andy Reid is twice the play designer and play caller that Dorsey is. He also frequently has Kelce inexplicably wide open when the play breaks down. Mahomes struggles (just like Allen did today) when the other team gets pressure with 4 rushers. See the Bucs Super Bowl for a recent example.
  23. Since the second half of the GB game last year, everything on offense seems so difficult. Getting a first down is a monumental task. I’m kind of thinking OC is to blame. Allen’s decision making needs help too.
  24. Coaches are telling him not to run. They said it explicitly this off-season.
  25. I kind of think Vikings game last year was even grosser. There are a few good ones to choose from.
