Why does it matter if it moves before his knee hits for an incomplete pass? That would only be relevant for a fumble.

I remember Frazier (or was it McDermott?) saying in an interview that halftime adjustments aren’t a real thing and there isn’t enough time to actually make any adjustments. I don’t know if that is true, but it explains some things.
