Also, they call that late hit on the slide 90% of the time, so idk what OP is complaining about. He hit him pretty solid. If he didn’t want to get flagged he should have stopped or leapt over the top, which defenders usually do to avoid contact.

I think partially it’s that Diggs isn’t very fast or tall. He’s an elite route runner, but there isn’t a lot of margin for error hitting him in stride on deep passes. Allen either needs to make a perfect pass, or underthrow him a little bit. But the underthrow on deep Diggs passes led to like 3 INT earlier in the season.

Defense is going to give up some points with those injuries. Offense is basically fully healthy (sans Davis at the moment), so they are going to have to show up big time.

I remember Trevor Lawrence writhing in pain and being carried to the locker room essentially. Everyone thought he was done for the season, but I think he just missed one game with a high ankle sprain. How effective he was the rest of the season is up to debate...
