If Elam is healthy scratched again this week, then we'll really know that something funky is up. Otherwise I think we can apply Occam's Razor, and assume he was just outplayed by the players ahead of him on the depth chart.

Can Diggs even win this award? If he has a big week, there is no doubt that Allen has had an even bigger week.

I was pretty pissed off after that Colts game, but if you would have told me that the Bills wouldn't have another bad regular season loss for years (and counting), then I would have been pretty psyched.

How exciting can it be when you win by 4 TDs every week? Where is the suspense?

This pretty much nails it. Shorter passes have a higher likelihood of being completed. Rather than throwing deep every single time Diggs or Davis has single coverage, regardless of the game situation like last year (sort of an exaggeration, but not much of one), we are passing it 4-7 yards down the field and hoping for YAC.

Bills should win, but this isn’t a gimme. Jags won a playoff game last year with largely the same roster. Other Josh Allen is a great player and we should use the same game plan we did for Crosby vs the Raiders.

How often does Davis moves the chains for 8-12 yards on a play that isn’t a scramble drill? Feels like very rarely. He is a WR #3 with big play potential. A more reliable #2 would make this offense even more deadly.

I hate that call. The DB only ran into the WR because it was a terribly thrown ball. He also had his head turned around and deflected the ball. It’s like the offense gets rewarded for incompetence.

Does it seem like the NFL product is really declining this year? A lot of bad teams, bad refs and wtf plays.

If they are actually done with Elam (I don’t think they are), I think a CB swap with another team for a more zone CB is possible. There would have to be a fit where another team wants to add a depth man-coverage CB with upside.

I guess a big difference is that our big money players are actually performing well. Tre White and Von Miller have hurt us some with their injuries in that regard. Knox has slightly underperformed his payday.

Allen is getting dudes paid out there.

I kind of think we could lose this upcoming week with all the travel nonsense. Giants laid an egg against the Cowboys but have looked better. Maybe Burrow starts to heal up and the Bengals look better? Tampa Bay has looked okay this year. I kind of think we drop one game in the stretch before the Eagles game, and I think it might be this week.

I could see Tua having by far the best QB stats this year, because the Dolphins are going to stat pad against bad and middle of the road defenses. Won’t matter come playoff time though.

Just take a look at the stats page for QBs, and you’ll see that the top is all bunched up. Allen is currently #6 in yards, #1 in comp % (Lamar Jackson is essentially tied though), #5 in YPA, tied for #2 in TDs with 3 other QBs. Tied for #3 in passer rating with Herbert just behind. As of today, MVP is probably looking like: - Tua - Allen - L. Jackson - Mahomes - Purdy - Herbert Russell Wilson actually has an identical passer rating to Allen right now with 9 TDs and 2 INTs (although I think garbage time might have something to do with that).

The flag came out after the pick. Someone posted the video up thread. The ref even hesitate for a moment and did like a pump fake with the flag before throwing it.
