I’m not going to make a playoff result prediction, but I think they finish 9-8. Whether that is enough to make the playoffs will depend on if the Dolphins can lose some games and possibly wild card seeding luck.

There is no way the Steelers would trade a starting CB when they are currently in a playoff position. Even if they think he’ll be depth/first off the bench they won’t trade him.

I still don’t understand why anybody cares what Joe Marino says. How does he even know what the “hot route” in the Bills playbook is? Maybe some plays don’t have a hot route by design. A freelance journalist and podcaster is not somebody whose analysis I’m going to take as gospel. Bottom line is none of us really know what Allen’s reads are and who he is supposed to be going to with the ball in different scenarios.

Allen has completely warped people’s expectations of what is good/bad QB play. If he is only playing well, but not HOF level then people say he is playing “very bad”. It’s like people missed the entire drought and became Bills fans in the last 5 years. Allen has outperformed or been on par Mahomes this year, and Mahomes has a way better offensive line, running game and play caller. It’s ridiculous.

If you think Josh Allen played bad, I invite you to watch other quarterbacks. Most of them played worse this weekend. Jalen Hurts had a very similar stat line against a trash Dolphins defense that Allen torched. Did Hurts have a very bad game? Nobody is saying that…

I don’t even think Shakir is the hot read. It is a risky pass flinging it to the sideline with the DB there. I think setting the protections got screwed up. RB should be blocking the blitzer. Not sure if that is on Allen or Dorsey. I think the pass should have gone to the RB, but I think this was 3rd down right? He may have thought the RB wouldn’t have made it to the sticks or endzone.

Josh Allen was not really bad. People here need to take a look at the box scores from around the league and see some of the other QB performances. Allen’s performance was above average. This is with zero running game, an o-line that couldn’t block, and a pretty decent Pats defense. I don’t care what some geek picking apart individual plays thinks. He’s missing the forest for the trees.

A hot take would be saying we need to trade Josh Allen, or fire everybody. Looking at our current results, and upcoming schedule and thinking we may miss the playoffs by a game (or tie breaker) is not a hot take at all.

The Patriots actually have a good defense. These are the points they have given up to the other team’s offense: Eagles - 19 Dolphins 24 Jets - 10 Cowboys - 23 Saints - 27 Raiders -19 Bills - 25 Josh Allen led offense scored more than the Eagles, Dolphins, and Cowboys. And it really should have been the most points because Bass messed up an easy FG. You know what the Pats don’t have…a good offense. Yet the Bills defense gives up 2 scores more than their best performance. People are placing the blame in the wrong direction here.

Defense isn’t going to stop anybody the rest of the year. Offense is capable of matching scores with other teams. That is our only chance. They need to remove their head from their collective rectum in the first half of games if we have a chance.

His pick yesterday was a high-low concept the Bills run like 10 times per game. If the DB takes the underneath guy, then Allen is supposed to throw to the high guy. If the DB takes the high guy, then Allen is supposed to throw to the underneath guy. Peppers said in his post game that he recognized the play and knew he was going to get a pick. He knew Allen was going to throw to the high receiver before he had even thrown it. That is on Dorsey IMO. If the DB on the other team knows the plays well enough that they know exactly where the QB is gonna throw it, then that is a problem.

Allen is #5 in passing yards, tied for #1 in passing TDs, #5 in passer rating, #3 in completion percentage, tied for #10 in rushing TDs, #1 in total TDs. He’s also led game winning drives at the end of the 4th quarter the past two games. So no…the issue isn’t Josh Allen.

The issue is remaining strength of schedule. This link doesn’t include this week’s results, but the Bills will definitely be top 5 after this week for hardest remaining schedule. Tampa somehow has the #7 scoring defense, but #20 overall defense. I guess they are bend but don’t break.

Allen is a top 2-3 QB in the league in his prime. We are in a unique position to be able to hire the top coaching candidate if we go that way.

The offensive line was absolute garbage yesterday. They couldn’t run block at all. They couldn’t pass protect. Even worse, the middle of the line got caved in, which prevented Allen from stepping up in the pocket. Late in the game when we needed a big completion, he was immediately leaving the pocket because he knew there wouldn’t be one. Considering that, I think he had a pretty good game.

Two years ago it was Dawkins on offense. Not sure that is really true anymore.
