I disagree that 9-8 definitely gets in. Would likely have to rely on tie breakers in that case and our AFC record might be worse. Assuming Dolphins, Chiefs, Ravens and Jags win their divisions, I see a path for any of these teams to making it to 9-8: Bills, Browns, Steelers, Bengals, Texans. Maybe even the Jets, but probably not with Wilson. If you look at the Texans remaining schedule it is a joke. I could see them grabbing a wild card spot for sure.

If we head there 9-7 it will likely be a win and in type game. Hoping that isn’t the case.

Okay…The NYT Playoff simulator is up and gives us a 96% chance to make the playoffs with the following results. Wins - at Bengals - Broncos - Jets - at Chargers - Patriots Losses - at Eagles - at Chiefs - Cowboys - at Dolphins Dropping any of the games in the wins column drops our chances considerably. 9-8 doesn’t seem like it is going to cut it. KC constantly gets a defensive holding to their benefit to extend the drive. Curiously it always seems to be on 3rd or 4th down. Gabe Davis has always made impressive hand catches away from his body. Especially impressive because they are frequently rockets from Allen. Davis’ drops are contested catches (stealing the ball from Minkah Fitzpatrick last year not withstanding), and issues coming in/out of breaks in his route. I’m not sure Davis’ issue is actually his hands when it’s a clean toss and catch.

You are crazy to think Allen had a bad game. The stats say otherwise because the reality is otherwise. 75% completion 325 yards passing 2 pass TDs 1 INT 8 YPA 107 passer rating 41 yards rushing 1 rushing TD (that was actually difficult, not a tush push) That would be the best game of the year for like half the QBs in the NFL. He was handcuffed in the second half by coaching.

Allen could have put up 350+ and another TD if Dorsey/McDermott didn’t get so conservative with the play calling. But he isn’t going to win MVP, because the Bills aren’t going to have the #1 seed. Mahomes will have similar stats, and KC will be the #1 seed. He’s going to get it.

Yea, I really enjoyed how we scored zero points the final 25 minutes of the game and punted 4 straight drives. I also loved how we couldn’t get a first down the end the game, and imploded on 3rd and goal from the 6 inch line. We actually scored less than last week, and the defense gave up an end of game TD drive, and almost another one.

I would say it was in doubt on the last play. The ball dropped 3 feet from Godwin who was unguarded. Luckily he never located the ball.
