Mahomes made some nice throws, though. Maybe he didn't fill up the stat line, but he makes plays every game that solidify the reality of his elite status.
He made nice throws, but his only TD was on a busted coverage play. I think almost any QB makes that play. To be fair, the Chiefs ran more in the red zone tonight, so he didn't pad his stats. -

Chris jones is low key kind of carrying mahomes a bit the last year plus lol
He was constantly in the backfield forcing Jackson to scramble. Dude is next level.- 1

If that was Josh Allen it’s all anyone would talk about, this miss to Flowers.Because it’s Lamar, they are going to forget about that and talk about how great he was and unlucky he was with the toe.
I remember the Eagles game last year where Gabe Davis cut the wrong way and it made it look like Allen missed him for a game winning TD. It's all anybody talked about for like 3 days.- 1

Can’t wait for everyone in the NFL media to make excuses for Lamar tomorrow morning
They will all experience amnesia where we didn't see Jackson attempt a pass more than 5 yards down the field for almost 3 quarters.

That last pass was also super high and fast. Jackson could have made it a touch lower or a touch softer and it's probably a TD. Likely seems like a great TE.

Looks pretty clearly out to me, ouch
-
Jackson with 3 pretty bad passes in a row. WR bailed him out on the first one.
-
That really looked like it hurt

This is why Lamar Jackson gets MVPs. This game he looked pretty terrible and he still has a 95 passer rating somehow and a decent amount of rushing yards.
-
2 minute drill with no timeouts. I'm thinking a pick.
-
On the replay all 3 guys mistimed their jumps. Mahomes caught it basically back on the ground already.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the Bills would be the Buffalo Sabres of the NFL if it wasn’t for Josh Allen.
Worthy is gonna be the next Tyreek Hil and Coleman is gonna be the next Kelvin Benjamin.
McDermott is a good enough coach to make the playoffs (see the Tyrod Taylor Bills), so no they wouldn't be the Buffalo Sabres of the NFL.

They let that go a ton from what I’ve seen
The first guy pushed Mahomes in bounds, and the other guy grazes his legs while he's still airborne.

That was not a late hit at all

Taylor does that every play man
With my conspiracy hat on, they put their thumb on the scale this drive because they want to make the end of the game as close as possible. Give the Ravens another drive.

If Coleman has 68 yards and 2 TD’s on Sunday, I will be ecstatic. I don’t care if the entire defense falls down.
Same here, but I wouldn't read into it like it was indicative of a big rookie season. -

On a gadget rushing play and blown coverage that my grandmother could walk in if she managed to catch it.

Let's be honest. If Keon was really the guy we "wanted" we woulda taken him at 28. Beane doesn't know how to pick receivers.
Didn't he say post-draft that he had a group of WR that he considered all in the same tier, so he traded down knowing he would get at least one of them? -
Worthy is so fast that he is confusing the opposing defense into not covering his half of the field.

Mahomes has the full dead weight going limp thing perfected when he gets touched out of bounds. Allen has a more theatrical throwing of his body to the ground in his flops.

It wasn't a prayer. Likely was coming back to Lamar as he scrambled and was very open. What I meant was Lamar using his legs to extend a play and then not tucking and running but looking downfield.
Likely was not coming back to Lamar. He was running down the field, and after the ball was thrown he stopped to run back towards the LOS because the pass was such a lobbed underthrow. Honestly seemed like one of those passes intended to draw PI.
-
Lol, literally just lobbed it up into the area code of the TE. Jackson is lucky that wasn't picked.

We've seen Allen with some poor o-lines (who remembers Saffold?), and he's never looked this bad passing.

I think I hate the Chiefs more than I’ve ever hated the Patriots and in a Bills fan that went through the 4 SB losses
It helped that the Bills were terrible at the time.- 1

Regardless of fault, it was still talked about a large portion of the week in the sports media because Allen is held to some ridiculous standard. Doubt the Flowers miss even gets mentioned past tomorrow morning.
